Reiko isn't undead. Sindel has been properly revived by Deception and she still has white eyes. The MKX revenants have yellow eyes that go back to normal once no longer under Quan Chi's control.

Tanya's white eyes are just a design choice to emphasize her evil tendencies. Nothing more.

No. Reiko is an undead Outworlder. He was a revenant as of his introduction in MK4, and he was never said to be resurrected afterward.
And there was absolutely no mention of Sindel being 'revived' by Deception. She just stopped being brainwashed and went back to ruling Edenia.

I'll say again, white eyes used to be indicative of being undead (Sindel, Reiko, Noob Saibot, Scorpion,) crazy powerful, or a god.

And white eyes being 'indicative of her evil tendencies' is the most ridiculous thing I've ever heard. Why aren't Rain's eyes white, then? Why aren't Quan Chi's eyes white? Eye color has simply become a stylistic choice.

It was supposed to make sense with her wearing a domino mask, but they screwed up in her alternate and made her eyes white with no mask.

Looks fake to me. If it is real then I guess all the black racists got what they wanted. Its a shame how hating whiteness is celebrated, maybe in the next game they should just make all the characters Asian and black so all the prejudice minorities can stop complaining.

It never outright states he was killed, only ASSUMED dead. ... though it's possible. His eyes glowed BLUE, however, in MK4. They weren't white.

However, still plenty of other characters have/had white eyes that aren't undead, such as Sub-Zero, Shang Tsung, etc.

Even "undead" Mileena in MK: Gold had her eyes return to normal by the time Deception rolled around. They weren't ever that consistent with it.

That I assume had more to do with being a lazy swap for Noob in MK4. Also, being in the direct service of the Brotherhood of Shadow almost always guarantees you are undead or a demon (unless you're a mole, like D'Vorah or Tanya;) Reiko is not a demon and he's from Outworld, so he probably died before he joined their ranks.

Regardless, Reiko's eyes were white in Armageddon. He had glowing eyes, anyhow.

Who says they won't let you pick which version of MKX Tanya you want? Wouldn't make sense to just remove one from the game. She could have two slightly similar skins and another wildly different one.

I didn't mind the first rendition of Tanya, but this definitely looks more like Tanya as we've come to know her. Cool stuff. Excited to check her out.

I think Tanya's new skin will just casually show up in story mode. Her model, moveset and overall character pointers all exist within the game files. They'll just update them. I don't think they will create two different entities for what is basically a 3D model and a moveset.
