Just finished arcade with her, sad to see she has no alternate costume. :(

Also, annoyed with the developers fucking up Mileena's ethereal variation when Tanya basically has the same teleport idea but better in ALL three of her variations, plus more. Ethereal is just super pointless, as if it wasn't before.



But my most favorite thing is her animation after she walks away from the select screen, just looking at her nails like 'no big deal'/'annoyed to be there'. It's perfect.

"I don't know what Cassie saw in you. Don't you see, Rain? This is a trap!!"

I wish the endings were still acted out.

Now that she's out, figured it'd be interesting to have a look at her old and new models, side by side.

The actual shape of her face didn't change much, but by getting rid of that contour blush it appears...softer.
I was surprised she has visible pupils, since it looks plain white in the game. "what if" image, if she kept the pupils

The new nose is slightly wider and slightly smaller in length.

As for the body, it's mostly the arms/shoulders being thinner and less bulky.

I know some people are extremely sensitive to new Tanya threads so I decided to bump this on instead

Her hair was so messy! And i liked her old nose better, but overall she looks better now in my opnion!

Not good, exactly but neutral. Tanya should be a traitor like before, she could be the right arm of Kotal Kahn and betray him to stole the amulet, just like Dvorah did.

now that i see this side by side comparison, the improvements the NRS team made are more noticeable.

I had heard that the first Tanya model was outsourced (explains why the model designer from the NRS team showed disdain for it). The low saturation on everything made her look lifeless and gave her a bland NPC feel.

The current model better suits the exotic egyptian inspired look they were trying to go for.

She really does look fantastic, oop at them outsourcing the model though.
