I'd accept him into the MK universe if he got a complete overhaul. Not so much in terms of his moveset, but definitely his looks. We don't need any more "ninjas" whether they are brown, white, silver, orange, etc.

There are plenty of more characters who already exist in the canon MK games that deserve a spot more (Hotaru, Havik, and yes, Drahmin).

But I would accept him as a new character, albeit with a complete cosmetic overhaul.

In the OP's defense, this thread was created in 2011. As for Tremor, I'm indifferent about him. Interested in his powers and appearance, but wouldn't mind whether he's named Tremor or if he's a new character.

He shouldn't be a ninja though. Ninjas are played out.

I'd like Tremor in the game but not with Earth abilities. Save those for an all new character if they have to use them at all.

I think Tremor as a grappler/bruiser thug would be legit. Just no Earth powers.

I wanted Tremor in MK9. I just want him to be more than a ninja though. I want him to be a big thug with a mask.

I'd take Tremor over those 3 any day. Although I would like to see Havik and Drahmin come back.

I would welcome Tremor with open arms if he's in MKX!
However, I wouldn't be heartbroken if he doesn't make the cut either.

Totally down. I like the idea about his outfit being more red/black dragon centric with a little bit of his ninja roots showing. I wanna hear more about the "mancers" of Outworld and assume there is more than just Cyromancers.

This. How about turning Tremor into a Golem, or some sort of stone demon with earth powers? I could get behind that. Too many damned ninjas already. Lol

I'll never understand the ninja argument. Reptile doesn't even look remotely close to one, nor does Ermac. Rain barely does. Noob-Saibot looks more like Death then he does a ninja.

What he looked like in Special Forces or the MK Vita Challenge Tower is completely irrelevant imo. He won't look anything like that should he appear.

It makes sense him being a Lin Kuei member while having earth abilities as they actively recruit/kidnap those with special abilities. You can have an exLin Kuei who works(ed) for the Black Dragon be a 'golem' as well. Smoke already proved that.

Of all the arguments I keep seeing 'not another ninja' is the most pathetic. I'd think we'd start seeing more people upset at all the Kahn creations. Skarlet, Ermac, Mileena (new timeline) who all have the same origin.

I don't even like the character but I'd rather see him finally get a debut then Chameleon ever appear again.

I agree 100% with this, The "another ninja" argument is just kind of dumb. With what Borshay said about Ermac, Reptile, Rain, and noob is true. They may have started out looking as ninjas but since they're debuts they're designs have been changed. I'm all for Tremor making his official fighting game debut in MK. An over haul on him would be great. Some Golem, ex Lin Kuei Black Dragon thug with a mask.

"Ninjas" have the best costume design in the minds of most people out there. I among them. Some people get upset that the original "ninjas" get a lot attention, it seems foolish to bash on them for that reason. No one should complain about a lack of diversity especially in recent renditions of the game. Each ninja is truly one of a kind now.. I don't think any one should be getting nervous that NRS will pallette swap ANY of their characters any more; that much we can be certain of. So who cares if he was a ninja before?

That all being said.. I won't be broken hearted if he is not included. If he is I think they can pull of a pretty well rounded character if done correctly.

I think he is a perfect example of a DLC character. Kind of fits the Raint role for this MK. I wouldn't want him to replace any characters they need for the story, but he is the type of character I wouldn't mind paying extra for.

Wonder if we'll get the DLC characters leaked on this game like they were for Injustice.

I would definitely pay extra for him as dlc, sure. However I would rather have him flesh out more in the story. I agree with you though, I can see them doing him as a dlc sort of deal.. much like rain. Which I am not completely found of because I had hoped for more of a fleshed out story for rain in the main storymode.

I'd rather he apart of the main game too, but I wouldn't want to see him forced into the game and end up only have 2 seconds of screen time.

Every single time a Tremor topic shows up, I just start thinking about how much better it would be if Tasia returned instead.

Would love the return of a true hidden character. One that you actually have to work for. Don't care who it would be but Tremor would work!
