I honestly don't think he's going to be in the next MK game. Would I like him to be in the next game? Sure, I'd be open to that, given a well-written backstory and a solid design.

I'd take Sheeva over some ninja any day.

He'll be in one way or another.
Put him in the main roster? No chance in hell. Tremor is near the bottom of the list of characters that need attention, and it's a big list. As DLC? Abso-fucking-lutley. I think he could be an awesome character and his main power could actually bring a new aspect into the series that hasn't been explored in much detail. Judging Tremor as a bad character just because he was in Special Forces is wrong, and the characters in that game have no right to be deemed 'unworthy' just because they picked the virtual short straw to be put in that game. If memory serves me right, Tremor has been a contender to be in an MK game since Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3 (I think) but has always fallen short of appearing. It would be simple to change from a ninja into a mercenary. Personally, I would like an element of his old life as a Lin Kuei assassin mixed in with being a Black Dragon mercenary, if his backstory were to include him being in both sects. Anyway, I think Tremor has huge potential for DLC, and with Boon saying he wishes they had more DLC characters for MK9, I say he has just as much a chance as anyone.

Only as DLC I'd say.
There are other deserving characters like Meat, Chameleon and Khameleon. We might not even see these characters in MK 10 on the roster. DLC probable though.
I'd rather Hsu Hao over Tremor.

why would they put a character no one knows again as DLC??? Skarlet was like the least sold DLC last game... i doubt they'd want to make the same bad business decision with Tremor.... who never even appeared in the main roster before.

This is meant to be a Tremor general thread to discuss the ever popular, always absent character that originated as the only positive thing from the much panned Mortal Kombat: Special Forces.
-----------
WHO IS TREMOR?
-----------
Considered the "lost ninja" in Mortal Kombat history, Tremor was supposed to be in many Mortal Kombat games, going as far back as Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3. He was even featured in the instruction manual for the game, where he is incorrectly depicted as an orange ninja with the same bio as Rain. Tremor finally got his brief moment in the spotlight as a member of Black Dragon and a boss fight in Mortal Kombat: Special Forces.
Many rumors had persisted through the PS2/Xbox era of Mortal Kombat fighting games that Tremor would become a playable character. He was cut from the final mix every time. Tremor has since built a cult following of sorts among hardcore MK fans.
Tremor appears once more during the bonus Challenge Tower missions that appear exclusively on the PlayStation Vita version of Mortal Kombat. Other characters in the missions appear shocked and comment that they believed his existence to be only a rumor. Tremor alludes to being locked in Goro's Lair for an extremely long time by Kano after failing to stop Jax in Special Forces.
-----------
BACKGROUND
-----------
TREMOR is a brown garbed ninja and a member of the Black Dragon clan who first appeared in Mortal Kombat: Special Forces. He escaped from Special Forces custody during a prison break orchestrated by Kano, to whom he was blindly loyal. Kano assigned him to guard the portal to Outworld and kill any Special Forces agents that may have discovered his whereabouts. Tremor was defeated and killed by Major Jackson Briggs in their encounter.
His backstory ifrom the Vita version of Mortal Kombat (2011) states Tremor was apprehended by the Special Forces and imprisoned after being betrayed by Kano, acting under the facade of a confidential informant for the Special Forces, who were searching for the Black Dragon, but Tremor escaped. He then targeted both Kano and Jax for revenge.
-----------
POWER AND ABILITIES
-----------
Extremely muscular, Tremor is able to create earthquakes in the ground by punching it, similar to Jax. He also has the ability to shoot fireballs and launch stone missiles that petrify an enemy for a few seconds. he has a stance similar to Smoke, fights like Jax and his outro is an exact copy of Noob saibot.

Discussion time! So yeah, there is a brief rundown from the MK wiki about Remor for those who are less familir with him; what I what to starrt the discussion off with is with the possiblity of Termor being the first actual grappler in Mortal Kombat history.

Same.
I'm never going to understand why people like this character when he's been in only one game as a non-playable character. I really don't want to count the Vita version of Mortal Kombat 2011 because he's in the Challenge Tower.
I just, can't really like this character because I feel that they could do something a lot different for an earth-wielding character. That's really all I have to say about this guy.
If he's in the game, I will play him just to see what he's like, but I would really prefer Tasia or someone even newer.
