The time that would be spent developing Tremor would be better used in fixing up and improving an already-existing character.

Tremor is a pre-existing character, just not one that's ever been playable before Vita CT. Before that his status was more like that of Wu Lae.

Tremor is already an existing character

I'd really like to see Tremor make an official debut in the main series. If he ever was, I think this would be the time to do it, even if he was just a DLC. I think there's potential for a really cool move set there, as well as an updated design!

However, I definitely don't thin he's at the top of the list as far as returnees or new debuts go. I still think that Sareena should be in line ahead of him. Even though she was in Armageddon, she didn't really get to do anything...

If Tremor is to be on the roster at all, I think he'll have to be DLC.

There's not much of a place for him in the story, unless Sub-Zero is after him for leaving the Lin Kuei, or maybe he himself has a vendetta against the entire clan and wants to exterminate it, but then again what kind of depth is that?

Really the only reason people want him in is because of the gameplay and style potential of an earthbender in MK.

DLC is his best chance and I would accept him.

The petition could be meaningless for the fact that Tremor could already be a part of the roster and we just DON'T KNOW IT YET!! Perhaps that is why LoT retweeted it, that sneaky guy!!

Would he technically still be a "new" character??

Either as DLC or on the main roster is fine.

Tremor is really the only one to fit that tweet, so i hope boon isn't trolling

Maybe if built from scratch, but then again, why not a non ninja new character? Also, Boon's tweets should be taken with a grain of salt.
