I have a theory on the new imp/brawler blastermaster character.
After looking at the brawler character, many people have noted that his clothing as well as the impish character's clothing is very reminiscent of Outworld fashion. Also, despite being a large character, the brawler's body type and skin type bare a striking resemblance to another character that we've seen countless times before.
We know that Shao Kahn made a clone of himself between MK4 and MKDA and that the clone was the one that was killed by Shang Tsung and Quan Chi in Deadly Alliance. Here's Kahn's bio from Deception that sheds more light on that
My theory is that in the new MK9 timeline, Kahn already had a clone of himself being developed alongside the Mileena clones. After his death in MK9, the clone that he had was released prematurely, so instead of getting a full blown Kahn clone, we get a clone that isn't fully developed and is a bit of mongoloid. It explains the similar clothing and body structure, as well as the need to keep his face masked (probably due to not being fully developed).
And as for his imp counterpart, a Mileena clone that also hasn't fully developed.

The Shao Kahn clone theory looks promising. But I can't agree on the gnome Mileena theory.
My guess is that shes a demon from the Netherrealm.

The "They dont feel MK-ish" comments make me laugh.
okay..so Raiden, an ancient thunder god, fits MK....as does Cryax, futuristic cyborg as does Noob Saibot a Demonic Wraith, as does Jonny Cage a famous movie star..but these characters dont. lolerbation.

Either a demon from the Netherrealm, or maybe just an opportunistic character who stumbled upon the Kahn clone while he was still restrained in the ruins of the flesh pits.

The piggyback character looks interesting, but the winged lady is basically a Q-Bee ripoff.

Oh, right.
After watching the video a few more hundred times, it seems the Twins have a codependency in their gameplay.
The little one can be easily knocked off the brute, and depending on how far the brute flies, she may have to travel a great distance to get back to him. This may prohibit the use of certain moves due to her absence.
If this is true, then the aim of the game would be to keep the two together at all times.
I also noticed how the little one runs off as the Twins' X-Ray move begins. The same may occur when they are the victim of a fatality. A shame, I'd love to kill her. lol

- I liked what I saw from WASP Lady (she's a very distinct bug thank you. It's like referring to Spider-man as Bug-man). And I think it's too early to claim that she's a Q-Bee ripoff simply because they have "Bee lady in a fighting game" in common.
She seemed Aerial based to me and so I immediately thought of Hawkgirl (Injustice) and Sadira (Killer Instinct) but enough variation to feel unique. Can't wait until people get hands-on with a playable version of the game!
- Betty Brute looked interesting and I want to know how the twin duo works mechanic wise.
- Aztec guy looks interesting as well but obviously, need to see more of him.
- I really dig the art style of MKX and can't wait to see more characters.

Perhaps the Bug Lady is Vorpax and the Blue God is Baphomet? I love the new characters, theyre very dark and refreshing to the series. Can't wait to find out their names and story!

Sektor and Cyrax are a predator rip off. I mean.. what are we talking about here? Every designer get inspirated by something.
For me they are unique enough and fit really well. and no, masterblaster is not shao kahn, Lady bug is not mileena and the blue aztek fighter is not shinnok. Why can't they just be new fighters? I really don't get it. Even Boon confirmed them as brand new. So no theories about mutated old fighter who becomes brand new.
I'm really looking Forward to see new gameplay from These fighters. I hope soon :)

...let alone spiders are not insects but arachnids... also did anyone notice, the harbior stage has someone's corpse bobbing out? It looks kinda like Reptile...
The one thing I'm dying to know is how fatalities are going to be performed on the brute with the midget.
I'm hoping that it's just performed on the big guy and the midget is just crying over his corpse. It's either that or he's literally the only character you can't perform a fatality on.
(Then you get a bunch of angry people who'll complain that there's actually a character you CAN'T perform a fatality on)
I really don't think we'll get that answer tomorrow though.

aztecwarrior/god.....looks the best of them. his design is kinda bland and typical but still...
others don't fit in at this moment but we will have to see the overall game to see what they need to fit in anyways.
seem like these could be different races and fighters from different realms. so that is good that mk will get more deep into its lush universe like star was does. I want all of mk explored and brought to life on video and camera.
tired of covering the same earth and outworld.......mk is WAYYYYY deeper than that. im ready to go into the rabbits hole....hopefully this game take me there story and visually wise

I'm fairly certain, like with knockdown/pop-up hits performed on the duo, the kid/midget will go flying off his back or run away, and you'll perform the fatality on the brute.
Only time will tell, though.

I was wondering about this because my mind went immediately to Carl Clover but the aim there is to get the enemy between the little guy and the big guy.If this is true, then the aim of the game would be to keep the two together at all times.
