I LOVE Vorpax, but for some reason I just don't see NRS using characters outside of the core fighting games, despite there being a ton of great MK characters in the Conquest series and even the comics.

Oh good, I'm glad there will be a balance. I wonder if any of them will be playable at E3 or we will just wait a bit for them to show up...

These characters really got me wondering:

What's so wrong with Drahmin? Try to tell me he wouldn't fit perfectly in this game. Is Ed Boon really gonna say Drahmin is among his least favorite, yet he clearly endorses a Master Blaster?

The more and more I look at these new characters the more I think that Ermac concept art may have been a real leak. Either that or its one hell of a coincidence. He fits SO WELL with these three.

So do we know if the duo is big guy and little guy or big guy and little girl? When I watched the trailer I had thought it was the former, but I see everyone saying that it's a little girl. Minor detail, but a question to ask nonetheless.

The little one appears to have breasts.

In the closeup of their fatality, the breasts can be better seen.

There is absolutely nothing wrong with Drahmin. He had a solid story and logical function in the MK universe. I use to give the character flak for small design issues, but those are all easily fixable.

And you're right: he would be perfect for this game.

It seems to be a girl, as it's wearing a bra and seems to have small breasts.

I'm curious too. Part of me will assume that there will only be four playable. Scorp, Sub, Bug Lady, & the twins. But then again they showed the Aztec guy also...so maybe he's in the E3 demo too? If so that might mean a few more character may be as well.

I guess we'll see tomorrow. I would love it if there 8 characters shown, 4 newbs and 4 vets-

Scorpion
Sub-Zero
Tanya
Fujin
Bug Lady
The Twins
Aztec dude


Maybe one more new character since the twins are basically one character.

I'll be calling the Bug Lady Blacharachnia, until we get an official name. The glowy dudes looks like a Kratos replacement. Didn't care too much about the big guy, since the midget is annoying and I'm not really a brute player, but I don't hate him.

It was the voice that made me think it was a little boy, but from the close up it is definitely a female.

The voice actors seems on point this time around and very skilled. Doesn't seem like they picked any ole' person off the street to do them.

It's Lady Vorpax, damn it!

Anyhoo, I hope the Aztec guy isn't meant to be a replacement for Kratos. Kratos felt immensely out of place in MK9. His fighting was odd and unsettling, and his fatalities were pretty much cutscenes from God of War. Nothing about him was MK-like, to me. He was much better off in Soulcalibur.

Hopefullly, Aztec dude will be smooth and strong. I know I'm only thinking of Ogre from Tekken, but I hope Aztec dude floats. lol

Doesn't surprise me since it seems like the VA's for Sub-Zero and the small girl respectively are Steven Blum and Tara Strong. And these two are really big voice actors in the industry so it makes me wonder who else they got for the cast.

Bug Lady seems like she has some potential. Not sure about the design, but the gameplay is probably fun.

LOL blatant BioShock ripoff from a design standpoint. Seriously, you can't tell me it's not and keep a straight face. Give me literally anyone else over that. Any interest I had was killed at first sight.

Third guy, he's cool. Looking forward to more info on him.

Master Blaster/Biggie Smalls looks like they're from Outworld; they've got all that strappy bondage gear on, and the girl fights like Baraka with her wrist blades.

It'd be pretty boring if they were. I'm more interested in the various realms and worlds there are. So I'm sure at least a few are from new realms or ones that haven't be explored in much detail yet.
