I was hoping for something with an N but that's cool.
D'VORAH WINS! FATALITY!
Will take some getting used to.

Holy shit, that's an awesome idea. If that happens, I'd be fuckin' stoked.

I see it now.
"You upset this one Ferra"- D'Vorah
For those who are claiming that these new characters do not "fit" in this series, I have a little post to write about this:
First off, we've seen a bunch of random creatures originate from this series. You've had giant monsters coming from Outworld, what's not to say that the big brute wouldn't come from that realm? We can't have different looking creatures? It's gotta all be humans?
Secondly, we have at least six realms that these guys can come from, even more realms depending on if they decided to write in some new ones.
Thirdly, it's about time to see something new come into the series that isn't really a human. Wasn't Drahmin and Moloch the last characters debuted that wasn't a human? Because everyone else that was so far has been human. So, to see these three new characters looking nothing like a human being, I totally accept that.
I'm not trying to be rude with this post, but at least look at these reasons first before jumping to the conclusion that neither of these three guys fits.

Designs may be a bit jarring at first but the names fit right in. Very pleased with them. Can already hear the announcer saying them in my head.

I wonder what happens to the little guy when the big guy gets a fatality done on him....

D'vorah and Ferra/Torr. I like those names!! I'm also warming up to the character designs. I go back and forth, as I'm not huge on the monster/sci fi characters, but they both look fun. I just need more info to go off of.
To those saying "you don't like these designs, stop being jaded /living in the past," there are people that want new characters that simply might not like the designs of some or even all new characters. It's not an either/or situation where you either like the new designs or you're automatically stuck in the past, desperately clinging to the Trilogy roster.
Every MK fan has their own preference for character looks and styles and what not. To some people, it's ninjas, sorcerers, human looking gods, military, etc (aka humans).
Yes, there are shokans, centaurs, oni etc, but most of them are monster sub bosses and they're not nearly as prevalent in the game. So a bug lady and a blue guy right off the bat might be a little jarring to some hoping for Tanya or Reiko or Fujin etc. I'm sure that most will come around if they haven't already!

All I can say is thank God MK is finally introducing some new characters. It's been a while since the universe expanded in that department.

I really hope that's not his new design, because it's awful. I'm not buying that it's fan art for one second, though, due to the insane detailing and the timing of it going public. Oh well.

In contrast I suspect Ferra & Torr might be from Chaos Realm. Their mess of a wardrobe and Ferra's demented personality seem to fit the realm quite well. It would certain be far more interesting that just another pair of Outworlders

Right on.
The fact that they look like Mad Max rejects is probably intentional, then.

YOU FOOL!
The moment you have invoked Khorne, lord of the Brazen Throne you sealed the fate of all MK!
Though it would be fucking funny to see Warhammer characters in MK. They would wipe the floor with everybody though, the power balances are far, FAR too large. Baraka is a choirboy compared to Kharn the Betrayer...

You're acting like Raven was the first female character to ever have a hood, wings and cape.
Also, from further viewing, the two look very different. Raven has a very thin hood, almost flushed with her face, and her cape is long and broadening to appear as wings. Also, Raven's actual wings are very bird-like, clearly.
D'Vorah has a very loose hood, and her cape has a typical rectangular shape with two slits, where her wings emerge through. The two are not at all the same, save for the common similarities many fictional characters have.
