Could be, though Nitara had plenty of japanese motiffs on her> hairpins, symbols on her wings...

I liked Nitara, but I always thought her little babby wings with kanji on them looked kinda silly and impractical. Perhaps they'll redesign the entire vampire race from the ground up and have them be descendants of Aztecs, similar to the way those alien dudes from Stargate were descendants of Ancient Egyptians.

Anyone notice on the big brute/little girl duo at 35 seconds in on the trailer, the big brute becomes highlighted just like the interactable stage items? I wonder if there is any significance to that, like you can control one or the other?

This is what happens when you use the enhanced versions of super moves. The same effect was in Injustice, in the same role.

All three new characters look cool. Liking them already. Bug Lady will be one of my fave females. Cannot wait to see her fatalities!

Tank and Tiny look very cool. It's nice to see different character types in MK. What with all the gods, demons, and shit you'd think we would have gotten some non-standard humanoid character sooner. Can't wait to kick the Krap out of these two online.

Araknia looks dope. Best of the three new characters. Looks like a hybrid between Raven and Batgirl from Injustice, with Sinestro's spider legs. She might be the best female design ever in MK. But MK has always had pretty bad female designs.

I'll call the god guy Kortez, for reasons. His Heart-Breaker fatality was rad. Very Aztec. His design seems okay. I need to see more.

Can't wait to see more new characters!

The huge guy will be Reiko who got addicted to Brawndo and grew EXBAWKSHUEG muscles. The little girl/guy is there to think for him.

I like your theory of the Insect Gal being from Seido. It would be unexpected.

What if her race have/had any connection with the Zaterrans? Like maybe her kind is not just also from Zaterra, but actually native to it, and became the Raptors' primary food source when they arrived. Her goal is to wipe out the last remnants of the Raptors for what they did to her people.
