Welp, Kano is honestly looking pretty lame..i'll wait to see a full video and stuff but from the screen shots i've seen of him it almost doesn't even look like Kano. It almost looks like Hsu Hao.

Ive seen couple screen shots. I like his look better now. Just fyi those screens i seen at least are at outworld marketplace stage. Anyways im surprised a little bit. I had a theory that they would maybe have some story line about kano and cassie cage having rivalry. Not original but hey makes since if kano kills sonya and johnny maybe

I would love that. Admittedly I can take or leave Sonya but the rest of those you mentioned are people who I want in. I know a lot of people think the idea is somehow too predictable or something but I'm really wanting to see Liu Kang return as an evil fire god like in his arcade ending. I'm hoping for him to be some kind of boss, not necessarily the final boss but at least a sub-boss.

I'm also hoping for Johnny to have become more powerful as suggested in his arcade ending.

Well, at least we might get to see a new arena, it's long overdue.

Honestly I have a feeling that as far as returning characters go the two most well represented casts will probably be MK1 and MK4. I don't believe we'll see many returning characters from MKII-MK3 with the possible exceptions of maybe Mileena, Cyrax and Sektor.

Being revealed anytime soon. I know Jax and Liu are "Dead" but that doesn't mean much in this franchise. I just think the four of them would be absolutely boring reveals. I'd be more interested in seeing Quan Chi over them.

Maybe they'll add his tattoos at the last minute for finishing touches.

OK, I just saw the pictures. I initially looked through the thread and couldn't find them. All I can say is that this is easily the most fruity-looking Kano yet. Not impressed. Plus, I doubt he has any legit reason to be in the game.

As for Kano, I don't particularly care for him as a character, but I hold judgement 'til I see gameplay. I'm praying (and optimistic) there'll be another character to show off at GamesCom.
He doesn't look terrible per se; I'm mostly interested in seeing his wrestling variation, though. MK needs more grapplers.

Good for the Kano fans, I don't hate the new look. Perhaps a bit bland but that's not what I am worried about with the inclusion of Kano in MKX.

In story mode I really want a dark,violent and greedy Kano. It was just not implied enough in MK9. He needs to a have a personality revamp. This is MK. His demented aggression needs to be shown off more. Capable of torture, senseless murder etc. SHOW US THAT.

If he is the corny G.I.Joe cartoon villian he was in MK9 that would be a huge letdown. That alone would ruin the the dark gritty MKX story we are supposed to get. Let's hope he is a force to be reckoned with and fear.

In all honesty, people stopped taking Kano seriously after MK3.

The inconsistency in character design is easily my least favorite thing about MK....

Which reminds me of Dominic Cianciolo being asked about Raiden's lack of an amulet on twitter, he replied with something like A man can't change his clothes? But talking about that amulet is opening another can of worms.
