Has anyone actually bought the magazine? There's supposedly some info regarding three different "age versions" of Johnny Cage and Sonya Blade. I hope it's true.

That's probably his look for earlier in the game, and he will have an aged alt for 25 years later, similar to Shang Tsung in MK9.

Eh, I really don't know how I feel about both Cage and Blade being in. Part of me wishes Cassie was flying solo so we could focus on her solely as a character without her parents being by her side.

Looking more like Iron Man's heart, I don't think that he will use it, maybe except in a Fatality as a "power push-up".

Hopefully we get to see the new level at GamesCom then. We're really in for a new arena by now.

Maybe it's just their appearances in story mode. They'll most likely be headliners for a good portion of the story, so naturally they'll age accordingly with the time periods.

God, I hope Johnny and Sonya aren't in it too. One probably will be, but having those two and Cassie? Christ, the Cage family would take up a tenth of the roster. Johnny's my favourite character but still, all three would be superfluous. I thought the point of Cassie was to distill two classics into one

The one quote that has always stuck in my head from interviews is "we thought perhaps some characters were OVER-DESIGNED."

So damn happy to hear that and it shows. Kano is a pretty great example of this. A few factors or accessories that shine through but nothing overwhelming.

-I love the hair. As a man who started losing his hair at age 19-20 (no worries I look like a badass), it's good to see a character who has it and looks so badass.

-I like the simple approach of pants. No shirt and a touch combat accessories.

I really feel that NRS is approaching characters with logic. "What would this character want, use or dress like? Why? I mean there is SOME wiggle room but If I were a hired killer dealing with targets who have swords, guns and sorcery and I like to use knives and choke people, I'd probably love to have the arm accessories.

Scorpion's look is also almost perfect. Cassie is completely believable aside the shades and Ferra/Torr are far more unique than anything I'd ever expect out of NRS. I seriously cannot wait for the new characters and the post-MK3 characters' looks.

Sonya will probably still have circus sized tits and look the same exact age as her daughter, only difference would probably be long grey hair instead of blonde.

Personally, I hope Sonya and Cage will be DLC along with the rest of the non-main roster characters from MK9. Liu Kang can be there too for the sake of his fans, but as for the main story of MKX, I'd rather he just stayed dead.

This. I'm a detractor of Kano. I consider him a dull and bland character, with almost zero importance in MK overall plot. I just can't imagine he to be revealed. I expected, indeed, a fan-favourite and maybe a MK4 character.

But three things more:

1) His design is amazing. Pretty muscular, pretty well designed, he is almost "sexy". I think MK need this kind of character. Tekken, SC and etc got the male sex-simbol-badass 40 years+. Kano can fill that spot? Idk, but I'm pleased with this fresh design. Since MK1, all his looks looked pretty much the same, with a few variations. This new looks is equally fresh and mantain Kano's essence.

2) During MK2011, a lot of reveal were made in magazines: Sindel, Jade, Goro, Kintaro, and the list go on. Maybe in GC they could reveal another characters. Still hope Mileena/Shinnok,

3) Kano is in, Jax is probably in. And, maybe, Kira, Kobra or another Black Dragon (Tremor?) edit: I just remember Jax is dead. Well, Kano does not confirm him xD

This. Judging by the low-rez pics, Kano looks more practical than anything else. Being nimble and able to deflect an ice sword seems like good forethought. lol

I guess Kano decided to have his tattoos removed.
