Gonna have to pay an extra ten dollars for one-day shipping, but it's only a couple dollars more than the two-day.

They can do that stance changing thing, where they shift positions. I'm pretty sure that's what it'll be.

good point, and remember its wireless, wonder if its better than the SF wireless ones.

So, i was thinking on just getting the CE for the figures, but that stick/case looks too good to pass up. Can anybody confirm whether or not the tourney edition gets the art book though? That's something I'd really like to have

I think you just get the stick with that one, kind of a bummer.

This looks awesome, but...

I have to buy 3 freaking copies of this game to get all this stuff? Both versions of the Kollector's Edition for the Scorpion and Sub-Zero figurines and a Tournament edition for the joystick.

Why can't they make a Special Kollector's Edition that has both figurines, the art book and the joystick all in one package? That way you don't have to get 3 seperate copies of the freaking game. Which I can't afford to do but I might be able to afford one super package with everything in it. *sigh*

I hate the thought of missing out on that portable joystick and those Scorpion & Sub-Zero figurines. sad

I still don't see this being wireless, at least for the 360. I don't think 3rd party developers are allowed to develop wireless controllers for that platform.

They said (WB) that it will have both sub and scorp, that there just showing the scorp for now. Read the headline again.

If you look closely in the opened stick, there is a cable in there. So it's cabled version.

Personally I think the SFIV looked better. They had a much nicer sleeker design. This one looks big and bulky.

I think Sub Zero is in the box so you just don't see him. It does say they both are in there.

I've got a Tekken 6 wireless stick made by HORI. I'm assuming MS must have granted them a license to make that stick or something.

Spinal Chord Rip?
Head Snack?
Toasty!!!?

Damn!!! All 3 are like the most iconic besides Sonya's Kiss of Death, but Reptile's is unique and always my favorite, but I would like at least one flaming fatality, yet the spinal chord rip is what started it all, DAMN U MK!!! LOL

Holy shit, lol. Are you trolling me to death or something? Let me try and make this as clear as I can for you.

I DON'T CARE ABOUT PAYING FOR DLC.

I do care about having to drive 20 fucking miles to get my Sub-Zero costume because Gamestop's exclusive is Scorpion. All retailers should get the same shit.

Retailer exclusive content is bullshit. Is that clear enough for you. Comprehendo? Do you understand my point?

Open your mouth, the helicopter is coming in. Vrrooooooom!

That's a good boy.

yes, I am trolling you. And I'll never stop.

Don't you understand those arguments are one in the same? You could just as easily live in a world where only one of those characters is available. THAT IS THE CORNER STONE OF THE ARGUMENT. Yours, his, mine, theirs. All of them.

If NRS made this exact same announcement only it said everybody gets reptile but sub and scorp will be available by DLC or only Best Buy has pre-order incentive and all they have is Sub but others will be available by dlc you would still bitch because now they are dlc dicking you on the char of choice. That is the point. absorb it. Think about it.

You are crucifying NRS / WB for offering you choice. You are saying it would be better if they offered us one thing or nothing than three things. That is the point of thinking. Maybe.. . maybe if we lived in 20 years ago when you couldn't hahve any of these establishments literally drive the game to your door, your argument would exist.

if you literally cannot wait for shipping and absolutely HAVE to have the costume of your chosing on day one, then I would say you are a sad fellow who is asking for it all. The way I see it, fans of THREE characters have the option to get their characters first round dlc for free. You see it as NRS pigeon holing you to shop at one of three identical shopping outlets costing you an extra 5 bucks in gas or something. I get your argument. Its just a pointless one.

You CAN have what you want, what you clamor for, what you claim bullshit marketing tactics are screwing you out of. If all you want is for NRS to offer Scorpion and be done with it then just pretend that Gamestop is the only store with a preorder bonus. Its happened before, it will happen again.

This argument is no different from hating on Capcom because Target gave away a 10 dollar gift card with Dead Rising 2, or hating on Toys R Us for giving away a guide with Fallout Vegas. They are offering you choice. Something we are criminally shorted on these days as gamers.

Hm. Maybe I'm wrong then. I just remember reading that somewhere a couple years ago.

Sooo, looks like I'm gettin...

The Kollector’s Edition:
1.) The Mortal Kombat game
2.) Sub-Zero and Scorpion figurines
3.) A collectible art book
4.) Downloadable content that includes an exclusive Mortal Kombat Klassic costume skin and avatar costumes.

@

Gamestop:
Customers who pre-order their copy of Mortal Kombat at Gamestop will get exclusive access to the Klassic Scorpion Playable Character Skin and the original Scorpion Fatality.

---

I'm not a fan of any of these ninjas in particular but, Scorpion is putting on quite the show this go round. Gotta give the guys at NRS due props for playing the posterboy right this time. Sorry Sub-Zero and Reptile.

As for Kratos.... eh.. I'll think about it.

Anyone else notice the background of the Scorpion figurine's display box?

I think that's the UMK3 Kahn's Kave stage. Or at least the throne from it.

When are the Kollectors/Tournament editions going to be available to pre-order? I looked on Gamestop.com and amazon and they only have the standard edition available

I can understand why people who would made over the CE/Stick DLC outfit but the pre order ones? I can tell right now they will be DLC later at some point.
You get them for free right now if you pre order the game. The only thing I can think if that people want them on day one.

I need to see "klassic" Sub-Zero and Scorpion... and it would be WONDERFUL if we could see how these original Fatalities look now (though we saw a peak at Sub-Zero's spine rip already.)

I wonder if other characters beyond the ninjas will have "klassic" costumes, like Kitana or Sonya.

As much as I agree that they are playing the posterboy right, Scorpion is only the posterboy because he is Ed Boon's favorite character.

Judging from the Original Costume DLC Card in the pics, the classic ninja costumes might just be palette swaps. It's the same silhouette as Reptile's render.

I am not doubting that and I agree that he is ridiculously popular but don't you think that if Scorpion wasn't Ed Boon's favorite then they would try to promote Liu Kang on stuff alot more considering the fact that has a tendency of ya know... Winning the tournament lol
