Anyhoo, I vote Mileena, because she has a special place in my heart, the third vertical to be exact.

Ever since MK2 Mileena has been one of my favorite characters, and I love how much she's developed appearance wise to truly set herself apart from Kitana. I love her story in Deception, though I REBUKE the mere thought of Baraka killing her.

I do love Jade, though. She's freakin' awesome!

Oh shieeeeeet... Now, this one is really tough for me.

Before MK2011 I would have chosen Jade, but because of her awkward gameplay and kind of annoying voice actor in MK2011 I'm going to go with Mileena. Though her new child-slut-psycho characterization is annoying too, at least her gameplay is smooth and fun. Although my heart still prefers Jade, I do think Mileena is a better character overall. Sorry J.

Both characters are awesome. I just have to go with Milly. She has got a lot I love. Oh and she had the best victory pose in MK9. She has the best scream and the best hair style. (Personal opinion).

Mileena is the 1 kharacter that I think hasn't evolved enough through the years, she's still the poor ol coyote trying to get the roadrunner, but just never learns the right tricks. LOL, I'm no fan of her being hideous and all yet I think she does play the part well. Yet I think that Jade plays hers just a little bit better; also her gameplay/moves are superb!

This is very tough, as I genuinely love both girls.

I could list reason upon reason as to why I like both, but ultimately it comes down to a vote of prefference. Damn it, I might have to sit this one out.

I'm in shock that Jade is winning. I'm more of a Jade fan and voted for her, but this will be the first true upset of this tournament. Exciting stuff!

You say this as if these match ups couldn't have possibly existed in round 1.

They could have, but generally as any tournament progresses the competition gets stiffer. Why would anyone want round 1 to have close matches and then the later rounds to be walkovers. A final with 90% going to one character and 10% to the other would not be very exciting.

I am beyond shocked that Mileena is losing to Jade. Jade wouldn't even exist if Mileena hadnt been included in MK 2. Mileena has a way more interesting story and she's been featured way more than Jade ever was. I do not get how Jade is winning.

I thought about it, and I figured I'd vote Mileena.

I'm in love with her X-Ray in this game, her playstyle, and her fatalities. Her costumes are a bit meh in comparisson to her Deception costumes, as is her story, but having said that I love her voice actress in this game and her theme tune by Tokimonsta. She's my go-to gal if I'm up against some serious competition, and the only thing I think she's missing is her MK2 costume (in place of her Flesh Pits costume, god I hate that costume). She's the first villainess of the franchise and I loved how cunning and sly she was in Deception, it's something I hope to see again.

Jade, whilst beautiful, mysterious, sarcastic and exotic has always been a favourite of mine, but she's always been too attached to the Edenian Aristocracy. I'd have loved to have seen her actually betray Kitana this time around in favour of Kahn before realising the truth about Kitana's heritage, black listing her as a traitor to her former best friend, and effectively ruining their friendship. I just think it would have added more to their friendship and overall characters if things weren't so rosy between herself and Kitana. Though you never know, maybe in future they become more friendly-rivals than anything else.

Voted for Mileena. I like her gameplay more than Jade's.

I honestly wasn't expecting that when I came to vote but I'm pleasantly surprised.

I love both characters but Mileena being an oversexed girl-child turned me off of her a bit. Her simply being oversexed was enough.

Due to this tournament being designed the way it is, most of the outcomes are completely predictable, even the close ones.

I don't like knowing who's going to win each match long before they even come up. That actually made this tournament much less exciting.

It would have been nice if at least one character from Deception made it to round 2.

I voted for Jade. She was a hidden character, yet they did such a great job of making her unique in UMK3 and she's only gotten better ever since. More story, more evolution, more ideas added on to her character.

I loved Mileena's new look in MK:D, but that's honestly the most they've really done with her. Even in MK2011, while I loved the lunge attack, the sai variation on that attack, etc, she was still basically the same character.

Of course, they're both fantastic classic MK characters and I want to see them both again, but in terms of completeness, which is about all I can really differentiate them on, Jade has more moves and more overall ideas attached to her.

Gotta vote Jade.
