Shao Kahn all the way. He's easily my third favorite Mortal Kombat character behind Goro and Reptile. The Emperor of Outworld is the best Final boss in MK history and is one of the greatest if not the greatest Villain throughout the games. He may not have been portrayed as well as he could have been in MK9 it was still great to see him serving as the game's boss.

Sindel on the other hand is one of my least favorite characters from the first three games, and one of the few in MK9 that I simply don't care for. Shao Kahn is the more iconic, memorable, and badass of the two.

Pokemon? Maybe? I dunno.

I voted Johnny, sorry Stryker. I love the new look for Stryker, but Johnny's special moves, fighting style and story mode presentation win this one for Mr. Cage. His win pose is badass too.

Cage, but as said above, Stryker got a huge leap forward with the last game.

lol Giovanni is the eighth gym leader in Pokemon Red & Blue.

He also happens to be the boss of Team Rocket. My post was intended to be a joke, but since no one knew who he was, it fell flat like day old pop.

Anyhoo. this match up is kinda boring. I like Cage and Stryker equally, but neither is cool enough for me to keep voting for either of them, so there's not really any point for me to vote this time.

Two great characters.

Stryker is easily the most improved character in MK9 and I think this game really shook off his Infamy for good.

However JC is my favourite character and the best thing about story mode.

Stryker has a better ass but Cage won me over in this game with how funny he was. Humour is always better than sex appeal. I vote Johnny.

In MK9 both were very good, but in the end I like Cage more. He has one of the best gameplays in MK9 and his humour was good.

Johnny Cage has been my favorite character since MK1. Hope he goes far!

Of course, the match ups are designed for certain outcomes.

I told myself in the early of round 1, that only the characters on the end columns will be the finalists, and as you can see, that is so.

Still, I don't understand why whoever came up with these match ups would go through this much to create certain outcomes, if the tournament's only value is being a fun game for MKO members.

Johnny. I greatly dislike Stryker's look and his role in the story.
