He's barely evolved since MK2, I think it's her turn to shine. Plus, she's just totally amazing, we've seen it in MK9 she could rip Shao Khan's heart right out if she wanted to.

Sindel definately. Mk9 refreshed everything about her. Alot of untapped potential in there. Shao kahn is more or less a one trick pony. You know what he is and what hes capable of. Not too much to build off of it currently. Sindel on the other hand has had a run on the good side. A little bland as well. But as evil? She could legitamately surpass shao kahn as a boss if worked right if she didnt really die. Maybe she could try to merge earthrealm with edenia to replenish it and attempt destroying raiden in the process. I dont know. Theres so much nrs could do with her.

I sometimes figured that when Shao Kahn gave Sindel the entire essence of Shang Tsung, wouldn't that potentially backfire one day? If you think about it, it's kind of like Shinnok's MK Armageddon ending. I wouldn't be surprised if Sindel recognized her power and turned on Shao Kahn sometime in the future. Yes, I know Shao Kahn dies at the end of MK9 but last I checked it's not that hard to be brought back to life in the MK universe.

i dont think this is fair because you have people that dont know much about mortal kombat and will only go for sub-zero, and/or scorpion not including the people that already like them for an actual reason.... people can be such front runners now a days

Her powers are very unique, she became a favorite right away when MK3 1st came out. I hope Kitana/Sindel can win over Scorpion/Sub Zero/Smoke (those specific 3 ALWAYS get ALL the attention, and they've been lost their flavor about 2 to 3 games ago, well Smoke's regained some kinda but still same concept).

Shao Kahn is a completely hollow character, a generic boss, has a generic look, and even has an awful fighting style in MK9... He isn't even badass... Mileena is harder to beat than him. Motaro's a better boss than him. I vote Sindel, obviously, but I just can't help but feel like she'll lose just because he's Shao Kahn.

The thing is though, this vote tournament is nothing but a popularity contest. As you can clearly see, almost all of the well-known characters have won against those that people do not know. Those characters aren't liked because they were only in one game if you don't include Armageddon.

If characters like Hotaru and Darrius were pitted against each other instead of them being pitted against a well-known character, maybe the outcome would be different. But that's not to say that they wouldn't be pitted up against a well-known character in round two or three.

We all just have to get over this popularity thing and just let it be. The voting system isn't rigged, and there are clearly people who are on this site that are silently voting. So, there's nothing we can really do other than to accept that this is nothing but one big popularity contest. And if it comes down to Sub-Zero vs. Scorpion, why should that matter? We all voted.

Anyways... my vote goes for Sindel. Despite that I thought she was a horrible character in Deception, her appearance in the current game made one heck of a difference. I just wish she had two different fatalities. They both seemed the same in my opinion.

Shao Kahn was turned in MK9 into generic warlord and all his awesome charisma and personality were left in MK2-MK3. Sindel on contrary was presented as very charismatic and alluring villainess.

Kahn. He was his usual badass self minus the new outfit (which I still don't think is all bad). Props for winning Armageddon. And though I may not have cared for what he did to Tsung, gotta admit it was classic Kahn.

Sindel fulfilled her MK3 role nicely, but Tsung food or not, I'm still not buying that mass slaughter scene. Also still irritated that they neutered her scream. Some amazing fatalities this time through though.

Shao Kahn used to be up there with the big badass bosses, but he's fallen a long way down.
