I'll post more in a SYCO related thread. I really just wanted to show support for my girl Kitty, and let Jaded_Raven get a peek at Jade's skin tone.

From the pictures you put up, Jade looks sickly pale compared to Kitana and Mileena. She doesn't look dark at all.

ugh. she's definitely a lot darker... tough to get a picture. I don't have much lighting in this room. I'll give it one more shot.


Edit: Okay, last picture. They're small in this picture but it should more accurately depict Jade's skin color.

These round 2 match-ups are good. Closest one yet since Reptile vs. Ermac. Though I am surprised Rain is that close, I think Kitana has got this one.

Rain is popular but not THAT popular on this site (again, I'm also a Rain fan myself) so I'm thinking it's a lot of people just voting against Kitana, like Scorpion in the last round.

I actually see quite a lot of love for Rain here. I know I'm a huge Rain fan. He's an amazing character despite his ridiculous origins. I'm just a bigger Kitana fan... she's probably my 3rd favorite.

Yeah i really like Rain, he's my favorite male ninja, but I had to go with Kitana. The war fans...THE WAR FANS!

Anyways I know he's not considered a joke character anymore, but I usually never associated Purple Rain with the Prince song. I made up a reason for why he always wore purple. Historically, purple dye was very hard to make, so only the most wealthy/ royal could afford it ( i.e. kings, queens, princes'). Back then (and perhaps still today), the color purple was deemed a color of wealth and power and that's what Rain wants. He's a prince, he wants power so of course this color suits him well and why he chooses this attire. Overall, I never had a problem with his "purple" attire because it fits his arrogant personality. I know this isn't really what NRS had in mind, but I really like this idea.

Rain is quickly becoming my favorite character. I love his design in MK9 and UMK3 and his story has always been cool to me. I like the evil, arrogant, half god royal traitor thing he has goin on. He's also incredibly fun to play as because imo he's like the underrated/forgotten rush down character of MK9. And nothing is better than watching a really talented Rain player at a tourney or on a stream because I know how incredibly difficult it is to get good with him on a competitive level. And a Rain rushdown is awesome to see.

Nah. Cyrax is ok...MK9 is actually the first game the character really interested me. I always liked Sektor more.

My faves are Kitana, Kano, Johnny Cage, and Scorpion.
