i voted for jade but i don't care for eather that much. just never really liked these 2 characters.

I know this may seem a bit asshole-ish of me, but that movie was so inaccurate from the actual mythology it made me want to break stuff.

I wonder why people taking Johnny so serious about his advances on Sonya. Hell what did Jade do... No offense Jade fans but there was no progression in MK9.

Dont get me wrong im a noob fan myself but i was just checking out the resluts and was like O_o.At first I saw the championship i was sure that
he was gonna make it to the final.
In case of the current battle I mean come on give it to JC.I mean jade just doesnt have anything really to compete with jc.There are many others who can beat him but in this case just isnt anything even in the renewed mk9 she really doesnt have much to offer.Sonya could though.

Hey, welcome to the site! I would go back a few pages to where that vote was taking place and just see for yourself. Everyone had different reasons, but I think that alot of people were sick of seeing Scorpion as the face of MK, alot of people didn't want to see Scorpion vs Sub Zero in the final, a lot of people like Noob's story a lot more and feel that Scorpion's has been stale for a long time now.

Truth be told, there are a variety of reasons why Scorpion lost, but I agree, it was very surprising! Most people thought that Noob didn't stand a chance. I personally voted for Noob because I like his story more and thought that he's progressed a lot since he showed up as a hidden character in MK2 while Scorpion, not so much. But that's just me. As I said, everyone had their own reasons. Some where as simple as "I don't want Scorpion to win."

Lies and slander. Up until MKA anyway. Hopefully they expound upon him being a hero in the next MK.

Aaand just as i thought it happened again! Almost every time a new vote is up, ppl start posting like crazy that they voted for a certain character x. Which in our case right now, was Cage who initially got a huge lead! Then after a while ppl stop posting that often and character y is in the lead all of a sudden! I really cant remember how many times it has happened so far, but really?? First time it was exciting, now it is starting to become a little tooo obvious, esp for certain characters like Jade. She is alright i guess and her portrayal in this game was also ok. But doesnt it make you a liiittle sceptical that other characters who had major scenes in the story mode or had an awesome new look and gameplay, were eliminated in the first round (hi Sindel and Sektor) and other characters that just stood there in terms of story development, or were bottom tier in terms of gameplay (to be more specific) are doing waaay better than the first?? I dont wanna bring this up again but seriously now! What has Jade really done to beat first, Mileena and now possibly Cage? Someone plz explain this to me coz i honestly dont get it

Exactly, Jade stayed the same throughout her story I'm so confused. People are voting for because she is a female or has a pole. I know everyone has an opinion but this getting skeptical.

I'm hoping people aren't creating accounts for their faves to win. Johnny has improved in mk9 a lot! I'm not a die hard fan of his but he deserves this win.

But, as I keep on saying a female will end up winning because she's a favorite.
There's nothing we can do about that. But, at least I know for certain Johnny improved.

Johnny Cage was the first character ever created in the Mortal Kombat Universe. People say it wouldn't exist without Sub-Zero and Scorpion, but I say if not for the first recording of Johnny's moves for testing, the game wouldn't exist...
