People will vote for or against a character for whatever reason they choose and there is absolutely nothing any of us can do about it. It is up to each individual to choose who to vote for, and then none of us can affect that opinion and we just have to accept that. All of us.

If people choose to vote against Scorpion, then you just have to deal with it, because there is absolutely nothing you can do about it no matter how unfair you think it is.

I first thought this competition was rigged, but apparently what I thought meant "rigged" was wrong. I thought it meant to put less popular character up against the more popular ones, and though I still think it was very unfair to do so, I admit I was wrong in calling it rigged and I just had to accept that that's how the mods of this forum chose to put up this vote-off. So I did.

Jade VS Mileena was a point where I was quite certain that Jade would lose, because Mileena is awesome and I know she has a solid fanbase. However, due to the random votes against Mileena, Jade won. So joy for me to see my favourite character getting an extra chance, while at the same time I felt bad for the Mileena fans who seemed to be outraged by her losing. If Jade had lost, then oh well, life goes on. I had already come to terms with her losing and accepted that would be the most likely outcome, but life is full of surprises.

Though Scorpion is a heavily popular character, it seems like there are more people who just like Noob more or just wants to see Scorpion lose. You just have to accept that, no matter how much it annoys you, because there is NOTHING you can do about it. Don't rage about it, because it has nothing to do with YOU. It is nothing personal against the fans of the character that people vote against Scorpion, or any other character for that matter. It is due to the character, nothing more, nothing less.

Of course, those who choose to vote against Scorpion to hurt the fans... yeah, they're douchebags. But people are not douchebags to vote against a character because they don't like that character.

Scorpion might be an icon, but that doesn't mean everyone likes him and has to vote for him. That's just not how the world is. Superman is an icon too, but I wouldn't vote for him. I don't like him, ergo, I won't vote for him. Simple as that.

It's harsh, I know, but you just have to deal with it.

People are allowed to vote for whoever they want for whatever reasons they have.

It's as simple as that. End of story.
