It does, and damn i can't stand to watch any more people jump around throwing random kicks and punches trying to figure out moves, it hurts. Better then nothing I guess.

I wish people would just pause and look at the damn moves list.

But they are too buzzy with playing as Sub-Zero and Scorpion...Geez get some inspiration and originality people.

picking a character you don't like just to be original is stupid.

nice find, horrible fatality though
And man does Nightwolf look great

God damn, Nightwolf's victory pose is epic. I swear to god, it's starting to look like I'll be ending matches without doing finishers just because the poses look cooler and have more magic and personality going on.

Kitana's fatality looks good. I really don't like the overkill of most of the fatalities we've seen. Arm slice, leg slice, decapitate, then head slice. I think a simple fatality is more entertaining. This looks good in its simplicity, minus the weird stance she makes in the beginning. Her fatality win pose is nice too. With that being said, I still think that most of the fatalities we've seen are lacking in creativity.
Does anyone else miss the fact that in the old games they would show the aftermath of the Fatality and now it seems (especially with this game) they show the victim die and then cut to a close-up of the victor almost always??
Back in the day even someone just walking by and seeing the ass-end of a Fatality would be able to surmise what happened because the camera would stay zoomed out.
Now that they have the technology to move the camera it seems all they do with it is show a close-up of the victor! I want to see the damage I just wrought on the person I just fought, not my own character doing a cheesy victory pose...
I'm not saying they can't zoom in for a pose at all, it just seems like almost every fatality shies away from showing the mess the victim has become, which sometimes I would like to see.

Very, very, VERY true.
One thing I am liking with these Fatalities, especially Kitana's, is the flow of blood, especially when it's slowed down, but yeah, all these chopping and slicing of limbs is getting old fast.
Like Razor said, and I'm a huge fan of Fatalities, but this is really leaning me towards just throwing a projectile at them when the game is over to see their real victory pose, these are way cooler then the fatalities SO FAR.

Finally I see someone mention the near immediate cut to the victor after the fatality. With today's graphics and whatnot, it'd sure be nice to see a mangled body that doesn't look like meaty popcorn. Thank goodness for Kung Lao's buzz saw fatality, at least he holds the remains up in his pose...well also Sub-Zero in his freeze/torso rip.

I'm in agreement. I never noticed how the camera turns from the dead guy to the victory when in the past you saw the whole thing.
I'm preferring the normal ending poses more myself. More personality.

Do you talk about the ending? or do you prefer the normal victory stances over the fatalities?

The fact characters have three different win poses is nice though. Round win, match win and fatality win. The more individuality the better. I hate to complain because the game still looks great, but the fatality ideas just seem to be lacking.

Yes I agree.. and I got myself so exciting with the first couple of fatalities I saw (Scorpions first fatality, Kung Lao's buzzsaw and mileena's head eater)...
But the last shown fatalities (except for that one of Sektor, which is the coolest fatality around) are really dissapointing...
Cyrax net fatality = great idea, but it lacks in graphics and logic very bad.

I am hoping we get individual round get-ups this time around too. I know the build hasn't reached beta yet. But in all the videos every single character has the same get-up inbetween rounds.
Individuality please. They kinda did it in Deception but still had characters sharing get-up animations.
Loving a lot of what I've seen so far. Still have a handful of complaints but it's already looking mighty impressive!

Kitana's fatality is alright. I agree that it's redundant given other fatalities, but I love the camera movement at the decapitation. Nice and theatrical.

I'm hoping her second fatality revolves around her kissing and blowing up characters, I wouldn't like to see another fatality with her fans... as that would probably mean another cut and slash fatality... there are only a few things you can do with slash weapons, and Kung Lao already got the best of them.

I've decided to stop watching videos because its ruining the game for me and I want to see the fatalities myself after I DO THEM....this is going to be tough
