Why do people want Rain back so much!? The game doesn't need a crap ton of ninjas! He's never even been playable in a truly legitimate MK game in my opinion (MK Trilogy and MKA do not count as MK Trilogy was just a home port with tacked on characters and MKA was not a very good MK game period).

If they cut ninja's they should start cutting double sub-zero and Noob Saibot, the most useless of ninja's...

Rain atleast is a MALE EDENIAN, a thing that is REALLY missing, almost got the feeling that edenia only has females.

Rain is not a standard ninja as proven in MK:Armageddon, so shut up.

I really ADORE Sektors fatality!!!!!

Finally a cool fatality shown in PAX! This is one of the best fatalities after Mileena's and Kung Lao's fatalities!

The victory pose of kung lao could use some more work, it's rather standard if compared to the awesome winning poses of the other characters.

Maybe he throws his hat and then the screen will split or the half of the screen falls off, seeing only the top half of the screen and the lower screen turns black.

hah, just noticed johnny cage's legs catch fire when sektor's missile blows his body apart. when all the limbs are blown up from the 4 other missiles, his legs are still burning on the floor. very amusing.

now that i've thought about it, i know it's not battle damage. he sparks in his intro(before he fights)just a little different. if it was battle damage, i think sektor would spark too in a similar way but he doesn't. there's something wrong with his programming making him spark an kill.

i wonder what the story is behind that? man i can't wait to play this game.

I hate that people still bring up the ninja problem nobody is a ninja anymore!(except noob saibot in a way since hes a wraith)

Rain not a ninja he's as said above a MALE EDENIAN/ demi god

Sub zero-can't really call a guy a ninja who can use ice

Ermac- body with thousands of souls inside him can us telekinesis

Reptile-a zatteran or or simply a raptor/man

Noob saibot-he's a wraith uses shadows to fight closes thing to a ninja

Scorpion- Hmmm let's see takes off his mask and a flaming skull is there sounds like a ninja to you?

Smoke- really can't say anything on him as a human. A cyborg ninja...don't even get me started on those

When even Quan Chi calls Sub-Zero a "ninja", I consider all ninja-looking ninjas to be ninjas.

I don't care that they may not know ninjitsu or even be Japanese. When the Chinese Lin Keui have Caucasian leaders and Black cyborgs, I started taking all terminology with a grain of salt.

But "ninja" is just a better term than "stealthy assassins", or in Rain's case, "flamboyant joke character who is really a demi-god yet dressed just like a purple ninja..."

sh*t, they should give us all the info before we buy it seeing as how we've supported them for so long and this game is for "real" fans of the series.

not to mention it's 60$ + tax, so i'm down for seeing anything i can.

I really love this combo by Cyrax.

At 2:17, Cyrax combo's into his x-ray, and I just noticed that his foot is on your head when he piledrives you. Brutal.

Cyrax exploding teleport!!! Also he shoots out a buzz saw out of his chest looks awesome. Scorpion looks like a powerhouse. Also apparently you can block throws at about 1:53 in the tag team scorpion/cyrax vs. nightwolf/sub zero scorpion trys to throw nightwolf but nightwolf throws him off. Also watching the fight Scorpion's backflip kick would rock hopefully they'll put it in along with a toasty fatality

Young Sub Zero has a more than proper story and yet you continue to say he should be cut out from the game.
Just take out one Smoke and Noob Saibot from the MKT rooster and you got your MK9 rooster.

Cyrax's X-Ray and Sektor's Fatality ftw. Cyborgs will rule the world, or in this case, the MK world.
the probably nothing wrong whit Cyrax programing and have to do that he build kinda different than th other two.

Sektor is more of the traditional robot/cyborg
Cyrax is more like a cyber robot/cyborg
Smoke is a nanomahine robot/cyborg in the old MK's
anyone else notice sektor is at least a head taller than johnny cage in the video?

as for the ninja debate, good lord i am sure the game has plenty of room for them all, though do not think we need a human and robot smoke. rain has plenty of plot and story and should be included, imo. in fact, i want him to be in so there is even more reason for tanya to be in as an unlockable or dlc. of the very few post mk3 fighters, quan chi & tanya i would like to see in the game as dlc or unlockables.

Where did I say that? That duplicate is meant for Scorpion.
Let me say it in another way. I don't like Scorpions second fatality because it's a duplicate. And I'm not fond of Cyrax's fatality's (who are different to each other), because they had more potential, could be executed much better.

No, someone that attended PAX already explained the throw cancels for this game, in this thread.

There are 2 throws for each character in the game, a forward and a back throw.

Who ever explained the throw cancels said something like to cancel a forward throw it was F + X, and to cancel a back throw it was B + Y (PS3 controller obviously) or something very close to that, go through the pages.
