Actually, she has more of a mind of a slut than a child, but yeah I agree with you there. I liked here before and I was really dissapointed of NRS's take on her in MK9.

As for Kitana, she can come back and not have much to do with Mileena. I really hope shes in because shes one of the best females in MK (if not the best). It would be a d*ck move to not have her in, not even as DLC.

DLC would make most sense.

The only sense making story behind her return would be that they turn her into a slave for Quan Chi, because that is where they left Kitana at the end of MK9. In that way she doesn't get in Mileena's way to grow into a more interesting character.

And when she returns in MKX I hope they cut that horrible hair to something less extreme.

The telepathic between Kitana and Mileena was from the old timeline.

I agree that both Jade and Mileena should have their own thing, but some characters are meant to be supporting, not everyone can have a lead role.

Mileena already was an interesting character before her retcon. Again, I hope they can redeem her from that.

Yes her mind is unstable as she was just created, but the writers were already steering her towards her old self, with her ending showing her instinctive lust for power. Granted her ending was likely not canon.

With her being the heir to outworlds throne, I hope to see her act as queen, but have some sort of advisor mentoring her and thru that develop some sort of wisdom thru this.

They say her mind was made blank to conform to khans will, but what would become of it now that he is dead? Maybe she is no longer this blank slate conscious and her "love" of her master gave her the incentive to mature and wise up to get revenge for him.

It would be a dick move for them to not include mileena in the game as she is alive and queen nonetheless, while it would be a blessing for them to include Kitana since she's dead, but sad thing is this is the more likely scenario with Kitana in and mileena out.

Kitana always had long hair. It's her thing. Asking to cut it off is like asking for Sub Zero to change the color of his outfit to red. Plus the hair itself looked beaultiful, it was the animation that was kinda messed up.

And just because she died doesn't mean that they should ditch her. Hell, Raiden died in the beginning of MKD, but he was still in. And Kitana is more of a mascot than he is.

And it's not too difficult to quantify which character is more popular. Just look at their history with character polls. There are enough of them out there to see. That said having one character be more popular than another doesn't mean that the character is somehow less interesting or less enjoyable. In the grand scheme of things it doesn't matter at all because they're both popular but let it go~ Be one with the wind and sky or something.

Except those polls' results varies depending on the region, demographic, etc so trying to accept those as fact is inaccurate.

There was stats on MK's website for the most used character in MK9, Kitana was always higher on that list than Sonya. But I don't want to make this a Kitana vs Soyna popularity contest.
