other than that, after Sonya and Mileena, Tanya is the most popular female left.

jade might be more popular but shes completely out.
as well as sheeva, and sindel. and i doubt skarlet makes a return.

some females that might steal Tanyas roster spot are frost and sareena

If she does return I want her away from the tacky 90s black and yellow rubber material. and instead a gold and black or mostly black or dark.

I was making a joke. If she's doing evil stuff like betraying her realm or killing people, she'll just flip the finger to the protagonists and yell, "Take that bitches! I'm just a messenger from the Brotherhood, not a fighter! I have diplomatic immunity and there's nothing you can do about it!" That sort of scenario.

Seeing as how Shinnok is now confirmed to be in the game, cameo, boss, or otherwise, I'd say that Tanya's stock went up.

With Shinnok imprisoned in the amulet, Quan Chi can't be working alone. Sure, he's got his revenants, but he's going to need some henchmen on his side. I'd say things look good for Tanya, Reiko, and Sareena to be cameos at the very minimum.

Not appearing in the trailer seem to have raise the stock for some characters. Tanya and Frost are two particular that come to mind.

That would really suck if MK9 characters took the DLC. What the hell is the point? I will just play MK9 instead....it was the last game.

Give us something new and exciting we haven't seen in years for DLC. I'm still holding out hope Tanya, Frost, Havik & Rain make it in. Be it final or DLC. Sindel, Sheeva, Kai, Sareena, Kintaro, Jataaka, Khameleon, Fujin, Kahn, Reiko, Cyrax, Nightwolf would be awesome to see as well for me personally.

Although I completely 100% agree with you,

from a marketing point of view NRS would probably make more money by including MK9 characters that didn't make the cut for MKX than including The Tanya's, Fujins and Reikos

Sure diehard fans would prefer these more obscure characters but lets face it,

I'm going to buy any DLC character. Sure we'd prefer the 3d era ones but most of us will buy regardless

The more mainstream fanbase would likely pass on these, but they would be sure to pay extra for a familiar face

So we could learn more about her.
I just hope in the end, quan chi, Tanya and Shinnok were the master minds behind Kotal and company against Mileena and company.

It seems like everything will be separated into groups.

Cassie, takeda, jaqui, bow guy, reptile

Kotal, D'vora, ferra/torr, erron black, reptile

Mileena, reiko, Goro, rain

And we know nothing about what Quan chi is up to, that makes me more excited.

I really hope it's Jax and Sonya in the Kombat Pack. Then there will b room for Tanya, Reiko, and Fujin on disc.

If that's the case, it could be one of the worst rosters in mk history because there is not much versatility, especially with each character having 3 variations.

I hope they are smarter than that.
I'm not butt hurt because Tanya is not in, is more because basically at least half the roster is mk9 all over again.
