I hope Ed Boon sees the many thousands of Tanya fanarts in deviantart and regrets not putting Tanya in the main roster of MKX.

In a recent tweet, Ed Boon confirms that there are more character than character slots.
That means that we might get a few more playables than we might think.

lol, he was saying the exact opposite of what you just said. He was saying that they're are so many MK characters available that inevitably some of them won't make it into the game.

I WOULD believe we were getting more than rumored if it weren't FOR these rumors. We have heard about Shinnok, Erron, and Jax being playable and making up the rest of the roster. We haven't heard anything on anyone else being playable like Tanya or Fujin. And the only reason we haven't seen/heard anything about Liu Kang is because he's gonna be an unlockable...according to rumors.

I think Tanya and Fujin are very likely candidates for DLC, and I really hope they're in, especially Tanya. But, as of now, I don't see them being on the initial roster.

It's March and we've heard absolutely nothing about Tanya at all.... which I did not expect, to be honest lol. I thought for sure we would have heard SOMETHING, by now.

The last time Ed Boon mentionned Tanya was back in the year 2013. Which is not really relevant to MKX, today.. isn't it...?

And it's okay because... when you think about it... does Tanya really need to be in a game that seems to mostly involve the Special Forces? Probably not.

Yeah, I'm feeling the same way. If she were going to show up, it would have been in the Netherrealm war in Chapter 1, and no one mentioned her being in that part of the story. It's a real shame. After she was so close to making it as DLC in MK9, I figured we would be seeing her in this game. I was really looking forward to it. They may have a few surprises up their sleeve, perhaps. If not, it's definitely an odd choice.

After that statement Ed made about Tanya barely missing the MK9 cut, giving Tanya fans massive hope of seeing her in the next MK, for them to not include her again would be a huge insult in my opinion to everyone who wanted her in and waited this long. If they go ahead and put someone like Tremor in over Tanya because of some silly petition then that's just even worse and I think I'll lose all respect for them.

I agree. I still think they will have to have a girl character as dlc and with that in mind it comes between frost tanya and li mei. It will probably be frost or li mei both of which I don't mind too much. I didn't really understand the tweet that was posted saying dlc will not be characters in story mode so maybe it's not them and it is tanya but better to have low expectations.

Did we not find out about Sheeva almost at the last minute for MK9? Anything is possible. And hopefully they have a ton of DLC planned because MK9 sucked huge when it came to soo little DLC. People want it. We will pay for it. Keep making DLC characters!!!!

After the 2 guests + 2 MK fighters at launch, we deserve another 4 fully fledged MK fighters at the very least. I am sure Fujin will end up as DLC. So hopefully Havik, Tanya, Reiko, Ashrah, Frost and others will a chance as well.

I wanted Tanya to be in MKX. They must never been on here. She seems to have been a pretty consistent topic, for the most part, on here since we got wind of this game. They probably have been working on this game since 2011 right after MK9 was released. It's weird they didn't put Tanya in. I hope she'll be DLC.

I wouldn't be surprised if they made a cameo of her in the Netherrealm and even give her some dialogue during Story Mode though ;)

From a business point of view you can see how they would want to make money off the most requested characters.
I have no doubt Tanya will be dlc but I hope that doesn't mean she isn't in the story.
I really don't wanna wait 4 years to possibly see her again.

I accept the fact that Tanya will stay a super rare kharakter, not playable for centuries to come.
