Tanya was my favorite female until they created Skarlet.

The fact that Tanya is named after Ed's sister, tells me he has a soft spot for the character. Adding her to MKD, tells me she might even be one of HIS favs.

Tanya being in MKD means nothing. That game was devoted to bringing back characters who had been missing since the MK3/Trilogy era and then some MK4 characters, too.

Kabal... Nightwolf... Jarek... etc.

Same reason she was in Armageddon was because everyone else was too.

What MK4 "characterS" were in MKD? Tanya was the ONLY one, they could've brought back someone else like Sektor or Rain from MK3, or Fujin, Shinnok or Reiko from MK4, hell even Quan Chi again but they picked Tanya.

I prefer her ninja side.

edited a little. Before Kitana was revealed, I put out there that instead of yellow and black, I wanted Tanya to be golden and Black, so mostly black and golden accessories.

so this concept art of Tanya was inspired by that idea.

I would actually be ok with her being mostly in black with a gold accent. I think that's very befitting of both her and the tone of the game!

Tanya is a versatile kharakter with many skills. She can therefore have a few good variations.

I like the martials arts and the sorcery and the fireballs, all that stuff.

Do you guys think she will be a reveal or we'll have to wait for the game? If she is in of course. I'm rooting for her.

It seems like we aren't going to have the complete roster before Launch (unless the story trailer reveals like 5 fighters or so). I have a feeling they are only going to make reveal trailers for their marquee players, aka MK9 alumni. Remember that Injustice Launched without us knowing the final 2 spots, Killer Frost and Ares. Both of those guys are lesser known characters. So I wouldn't be surprised if the same thing happens with MKX. Heck, we might even know whO is in the Kombat Pack before we know the last few roster spots. LoL

If she's in, I don't think they will bother revealing her or they'll wait for a launch Trailer.

I HOPE Tanya is in the main roster. With or without a reveal.

But of course DLC would be better than nothing.

If Tanya does make it in, what are you going to do if you don't like what they do with her? Whether it be her costume, overall design, story, moves, fighting style etc.

No matter. As long as they don't mess her moves sets and power kombo damage she used to have along with her gameplay, I do not care if they ruin her looks, and as always, I don't care about the story in a fighting game anyway so...

As long as she is in as playable, that's good enough for me.

If Tanya is in the game, it'll be without much fanfare or when the game itself is released. She's not notable enough to warrant an individual reveal like the current roster.

Yeah, If Tanya is in, we may not find out until release, unless there's a leak.

Tanya is such a rare kharakter (unlike Scorpion or Sub-Zero), I'm not going to nitpick.... I just want Tanya to be a playable kharakter again... which is something that happens once every 7 to 10 years or so, for her LOL.

The only thing that would disappoint me... is if she has a fail kameo, again. Tanya needs to practice her sorcery a bit more, to avoid being a chained prisoner.

Needless to say, I remain anxious about Tanya's fate.

this is what worries me about Tanya's fate.

1- D'vora's black and yellow costume makes me fear that she might be a replacement.

2-in one of kitanas variations, she has the dark eye makeup Tanya had in MKD AND ON. WHICH IS SOMETHING THAT I ALWAYS LIKED ABOUT HER LOOK.

3- almost not enough room left for females
mk9 had 6 females in a roster of 28 characters plus skarlet who was DLC

right now we have
Cassie
D'vora
kitana

plus is highly possible that Sonya and Mileena will comeback

that means that theres only 1 more spot left.

hopefully is not Jaqui because she doesnt seem interesting at all. she looks plane and boring.
