Kitana and Kung Lao have nothing to do with Tanya.
You shouldn't lose hope about seeing Tanya in MKX until after the month of April, when the game is supposed to be released.
I personally think Tanya has a big chance.

My frustration has more to do with the fact that all characters, except the 4 new ones, are all from MK9.

And dont get me wrong, I love fast characters, Kitana and Kung Lao are in my top favorite.

As a 'MINORITY' of a very few die hard Tanya fans out there. Who also happens to be using her as a main(though, there isn't many games that I can do since she wasn't really on that many games), I too, am slowly losing hope for her return. There's only about 3 months remaining, and about all I see are the returning kharacters from the 2D era, which is fine, but it's just chewing away the chances that the post MK4 kharacter's chances to be in.

I even twitted to Ed Boon's twitter asking about the chances of Tanya and Reiko, but so far, he hasn't twitted me back on any of them. I may be twitting on a wrong place or something, since I am pretty new in Twitter.

I know Tanya is one of the most hated kharacter in MK, due to her lame story(which I don't care in a fighting games that I have said several times) and the fact that she debuted at the wrong time at the wrong game, that havent' stopped me from using her as my main and score a LOT of wins back when I was playing on-line games in MKD(My record was laughable, but only wins I could score was when I was using her).

Well, people can hate her, but I just hope she makes it no matter what. Though there are other Post MK4 kharacters who has far better chance of making it over her into MKX, such as Shinnok, Fujin, Boraicho(Pretty much confirmed I think), Kenshi, even Reiko, but I will be keep routing for her return, if not in the regular roster, as a DLC also.

I believe Tanya will be in regardless. But him wanting a character in more than another doesn't necessarily mean that's what actually happens for the game.

I'm sure Boon gets bothered by tons of Tanya request Tweets enough to remember how big of a fan base she has.

However, I really don't want her to come in. Despite that I know characters clearly can have their entire stories retconned and such, I don't see a point with her especially since she was the one who allowed the invasion into Edenia.

And there's no Edenia. Sure she could always work for Quan Chi as the Brotherhood of Shadow, but... I just don't want to see her. I'm not a fan of her.

Though if she is in, she needs to have the annoying gibberish. That was probably the only thing I liked because she made me laughed every time.

I remain oppressed and obsessed with the MKX roster until Tanya is konfirmed to be or not to be in MKX. LMAO.

After the reveal of the entire roster, I will relax. LOL

Y'know, I'm not a huge fan of Tanya and I'll admit that right now, I don't see her being important enough to be on the main MKX roster. But I wouldn't mind seeing her as DLC. It would be interesting to see how they revamp her character and her moveset. I've even had a change of heart about the possibility of Frost being included in the game. I was against it at first, but curiosity set in and I'm open to the idea of either one of them being included.

I hope Tanya is playable in this game. It will be interesting to see what they do with her. I have said this before, what if her cameo in MK9 was canon somehow in the new timeline? I still have hope for her. I also hope we get some more story details in the next reveal.
