You don't have to start giving those lectures. Nobody asked for it — that's totally uncalled for especially considering the recent events. Mavado is a Red Dragon, Kabal is a Black Dragon and Red Dragons rival Black Dragons.

Honestly, I just like Mavado for his appearance and gameplay.

There are very few MK characters whose story does not matter to me. Mavado is one of them. I would not mind having him in MK10 even if his story is shitty, because I'm sure I'll enjoy playing with him anyway.
I'll say "yes" to Mavado, because like Hsu Hao, he could be very interesting from a gameplay standpoint in the 2D plane. In terms of his character and story, it could be something explored. The bad thing about him was that the seeming development of Sub-Zero's Lin Kuei clan and the Red Dragon clan was dropped. There is also the dynamic of Mavado and Sonya as Mavado was supposedly Sonya's greatest enemy. However, that wasn't really expanded much on. So having said that, the return of the Black Dragon makes me dislike Kabal's MK Deception story even more.

Don't worry, I haven't given up on this thread. Mavado is the next character in!

Next up we have Meat!

Unless they actually give him a purpose to come back, a legit one and not a joke, I'll say yes. But seeing how I really doubt they'll do anything else with this character other than background appearances (like the Church in 2011) and probably extra costumes, it's a no for me.

It would be interesting if he were fleshed out more. Like he was once a former character that nearly died but with some magic he was saved. Unfortunately he lives in constant pain taking away his sanity.

I say yes. Even though he was just a joke, he can have a story develop before his head is on the chopping block and is permanently removed.

I want Meat!

I like Meat, and I think he has a great deal of potential. I'd love to see him in MK10, even if only as a secret character.

I'm a vegetarian, and I want Meat!

In all seriousness though, I'd like him back. I liked his moveset in MKA, and he can bring a certain element of horror to the series, perhaps even more so than Drahmin. But please, give him back his bloody skeleton design, if only as a alt design, one he should have had in MKA.

As for his story, what little we know about it has more meat to it than Chameleon's, that's for sure. I think they could do something with his apparent lack of self.
Oh Meat...Meat..Meat... What are we going to do with you?

You're a joke character no matter what story you're given. Nobody will ever take you seriously. And you have nothing that makes you unique in terms of gameplay. So it will have to be a No.

But I do want to see Meat in the future. Either as an unlockable, hidden, or secret character.
I'm going to say "no" to Meat even though his appearance would be a nod to MK4. While he's a joke character, he could still be somewhat interesting if he was a bit similar to the creeper from Jeepers Creepers in that he sort of "evolves" from consuming others. *shrugs*

Wouldn't it be interesting if a character turned into Meat? Maybe Jarek.

Not saying it would increase his popularity. Just kill an unpopular to turn him into a freak. Wait. Does this make it worse?

Yes, sure. Why not? As a nod to mk4 let's give everyone a 'Meat' skin. But not canon. There are other better background and main characters that would benefit from a little face-time.

I'd be fine with giving everyone a Meat "skin", though I'd miss his individual moveset from MKA. The bowling head, and the bloody teleport. But if they're gonna make Meat an alt for everyone, here's a few things they should do.

First of all, make his skin "wearable" (heh) in story modes. You could skin any characters of your choice, including all of them. It's just funny to imagine a skinless Johnny still acting completely in character, with the other characters not even reacting to his gruesome makeover.

Make the AI-controlled opponents, including bosses, fightable in their Meat alts (as well as every alts, for that matter). You could even make such fights canon, by fighting skinless fighters created through magic (as was specified in Meat's MKA ending). I think fighters should remain skeletons even during babalities, albeit completely clean ones, of course.

I disagree about keeping Meat as a non-canon character, however. I truly think he could have potential as a canon character. I have this old idea of him being a serial killer in his past life who skinned his victims, complete with a fatality where he slowly does that. And like I said in my previous reply, his search for an individual identity could also make him an alright character, imo.

I like Meat's existing story of being a spare body Shang grew in the Flesh Pits that escaped.
...But no, I wouldn't put him in the next game.
Please add Tremor as the last when the time comes.

I would like to see Shao Khan return in mk10, even if its very brief. Something Similar to how we saw quan chi chained in the netherrealm in Mk vs. DC.

But he's dead.

And not Arcade ending dead. He's story mode dead. He's not going to be in MK10. Besides, I think we've seen enough of Shao Kahn.

Wait for me to do the vote on Kahn. We are currently discussing Meat for the moment.

And before anyone asks, I will change the character this Monday. I am currently house sitting for a cousin and I only have my phone. I am also graduating tomorrow so I will unable to change anything until after tomorrow. Sorry this character has been around longer than he should. This past week has been very busy for me due to Sunday's event. I will be back Monday to change it!

I think he could be a good wild card character. Perhaps an opposite to Tanya, everyone thinks she's good and he's evil but they're the other way round? So a yes from me.

Meat is a no, so it's time to move on to the next character which is Mileena:

I am going to say yes for her because I feel that she could be a real threat to Edenia and if the next game is going to feature that realm a lot more, I feel that she should be an important character for the evil side to have. I would like to see her character mature though, let's stop with this child attitude and start having her act like more of an adult but... I guess we'll see what happens to her.
I really hate Mileena, but I say yes.

She's an important character for MK's marketing, fan favorite, and could actually be Empress of Outworld.
If I say yes... she BETTER change her maturity!

Besides she should go either good or neutral near the end when Kitana and the others are revived to normal. Mileena can go into hiding watching Kitana.
