I must say guys I am really impressed with the love for Drahmin as well. I was fully expecting most to absolutely hate him, so the love he's receiving is absolutely awesome. I really do hope he get's a spot in the next game, whether it be in the form of a sub-boss or a regular character I absolutely feel he would be a good addition.
My tally so far.
Fujin: Yes
Jarek: NO
Kai: Yes
Reiko: Yes
Tanya: Yes
Blaze: No
Bo Rai Cho: Yes
Drahmin: Yes
Now, onto the bain of my existence as far as Mortal Kombat goes. Frost!
People on this site know I am an absolute fanboy of Sub-Zero admittedly and he being turned cyber did not sit well with me. So what makes it even worse is that Boon also has his ace in the hole for a human cryomancer Frost.
Frost to me is Kitana without the hair and she has Sub-Zero's powers. She's completely unoriginal. Not only that, but her story in a nutshell is backstabbing Sub-Zero and it backfires on her. I hate the girl. So it should come as no surprise here that I'm giving Frost a big ol' NO. I do not want to see Frost in the next game. Could she be a good character, maybe. Is she worth the time? No, not really.
Time will only tell whether we need her though. With Sub-Zero being not only a walking refrigerator/freezer but also dead, it may turn out that we need Frost so I would say that's one angle to look at for her returning, but IMO no she should not return. NO matter how it is I want Kuai Liang back as a human and as Sub-Zero. We don't need Frost stepping in and now saying she's some kind of new Sub-Zero that will just rub me all sorts of wrong. If only Frost could have been the one taking that cyber shell, if only.
Anyways, for fans of hers I will still post some fan art.

I say yes to Frost.
Not only because I say yes to everybody, but because I do like her. I think it would be cool to see Frost in the next game instead of Sub-Zero. He could use a break. But we all know that will never happen

Man, I just don't know...I'm not against her and I never really hated her in DA yet I don't see a great reason to include her.
So I guess I'm going with..No. At least not for this game.

hell yes frost should make a comeback. i perfer her over sub - zero anyday. she just need a differnt type of fighting style when it comes to her using ice powers to be much different from sub. cause right now she is to similar to him. mk has alot of characters using fire so why not have 2 warriors using the power of ice.

I think Frost should come back. Without Sub-Zero to somewhat try to train her (and him being an undead zombie cyborg), she could come into the new Lin Kuei and be completely corrupted by Sektor. Dare I say, he influences her into becoming a cyborg.
I had an idea for a Fatality for her. It would be somewhat like Sub-Zero's ice grenade fatality and Kabal's gutting fatality. She forms two daggers and throws one into their mouth and stomach. She then says a few words and does an Ice Motion like Sub-Zero and they grow. Guts and parts come out and the opponent falls down forward with entrails hanging out.

even tho she is a "ninja" I don't like her only because people look at her as a replacement for sub zero. I say give her her own moveset and story that does not too much around sub zero.
Something interesting!!! Make a femal shira ryu character and have her rival Frost. That'll give the bastard something to do besides betray sub zero and take over the lin kuie, something sektor is already trying to do...
NO TO FROST!!!

I believe that Frost should return but not in the next MK game. In terms of her powers and abilities, I feel that they should tie more into snow, hail, sleet, etc. to make her more distinct from Sub-Zero. Perhaps if she at least used snow as her (primary) power, it can more about making opponent's temporarily move slower as opposed to outright freezing them.
Regarding her personality and story, I've been thinking that instead of being affiliated with the Lin Kuei and being a "ninja-type" character, she would be tied more into the Cryomancer story. The problem with the previous canon is that we never got to learn more about the backstory of the Cryomancers, and perhaps it could be explored through Frost.
Since I feel that Frost should tie more into the Cryomancer story instead of being a "ninja-type" character, her appearance could reflect a strong North Asian (e.g. Siberian) vibe. Mortal Kombat has mainly drawn various East Asian influences, so it would be very different to have North Asian influences included.
So to sum it up, I say no to Frost for MK10, but I do feel that she should return in a future MK game if she's largely revamped.

In MKA i found Frost to have much better special moves than Sub Zero, more on the damaging side. And her storyline is a tale of morality: Don't backstab people and don't be arrogant because if you do it will backfire.

YES Please to Frost, she's my only favorites female character I actually like to see return MK10, I don't give a damn about the storyline.

I think Fujin should comeback for the reason that him and Raiden could have an interesting dynamic acting as guides and voices of reason to the kombants. I also think it would be cool if Fujin could be modeled after one of the old school kung fu characters in the classic martial arts flicks.
He could wear a traditional Manchurian Robe with a sleeveless vest over the upper torso and a sash belt with the endings of the sash hanging down in the back of his upper garments in white and silver or grey. He already has the hairpiece to match!!!!
And finally, he could have a really good and unique moveset to match his ability to manipulate wind. There so many countless ideas for moves that can come from this ability that would be unique to the MK universe. So with absolute confidence I say they should keep Fujin and revamp his character.

Well guys sorry I'm late, School keeps me busy.
Anyway it's not like the next guy we are discussing is really that interesting anyway at least not in my eyes.
Hsu Hao will be the next kharacter we cover, and honestly I don't have much to say for him. I mean I've never been a fan of Jax. I have always seen Jax as Sonya's sidekick, JMO, and so Hsu Hao was a rival to jax which means he was pretty much a rival to a sidekick. He was just not good. I don't think he was as bad as some people make him out to be though. I just really wasn't feeling him, and in the future I don't think that I will want to look at him in my game so I'm going with a big NO for Hsu Hao.
Don't get me wrong, his design honestly isn't that bad, but just the character in general comes across as boring to me, and that unfortunately makes me want to leave him out. He's certainly not worse than some of the other generic characters thought up over the years like a Kobra or a Jarek, but he's not one that I want back.
Anways here's a little art for you guys.

I personally don't think that Hsu Hao should return, and it's highly unlikely that he will return. On a side note, if his design and moveset were revamped, he could be pretty interesting. The thing about Hsu Hao is that he was intended to be a one-note character, and there isn't exactly much going for his personality. In a way, he sort of feels more like a Street Fighter character than a Mortal Kombat character. Perhaps as a gameplay-only feature, Hsu Hao can be a playable character with a cool moveset.

Yes. He won't, but I'd welcome it. I like his design and his moves were pretty cool. If Stryker could go from being as hated as he was to fanboy magnet, I don't see why the same couldn't go for Hsu Hao.
