I love Rain, but not 1/10th as much as I do Reptile.

I like Reptile and hoping he's in, I just hope he looks better than he did in MK9. I think that was one of his worse looks.

MK2/MKSM and MK4 are tops, in that order. Tbh, I think I liked the MKDA look more than MK9.

SO thankful for that klassic skin.

On the up-side, I can say if Rain makes it and Reptile doesn't, I'll at least be excited for Rain's appearance and contribution...and hopefully he'll finally get a decent chance for some glory.

Tbh I wouldn't mind Ermac, Reptile AND Rain being included in the ninja roster. However, I think if they make Reptile a punching bag yet again there would be no pont including him imo. They just seem to not know what to do with him anymore.
Anyway, if Ed's tweets about Ermac, Reptile and Rain are anything to by, I'd say they could all make it! Oh man...just thinking about Rain's reveal...I would seriously cream my pants lol!

Haha I figured. Well I certainly couldn't lose my shit every time someone disses Reptile.

Here's the deal : I can overlook the punching bag thing. If and only if his game play makes up for it. Imo, MK9 certainly did that at least. It'd be extremely annoying and painful during story mode if he's the same dope he was in MK9, but if he plays like a god, then I'm pretty much set.

Same could actually be said of Rain. Even if he still holds no real validation in the story, but his gameplay is bangin', then I'd be happy. Reptile and Rain are the two "ninjas" I want the most atm. Then Ermac.

Here's to hoping rain, Ermac and Reptile make it.

Honestly it kinda sucks we have to group these characters together when they are so vastly different. I'm not speaking to anyone in particular here.. I know the lot of you in this thread are level headed after reading your comments for the past several months. But yet we still need to group Rain Ermac and Reptile together not for any reason other than they looked similar way back when, or may possibly wear masks in some capacity (primary or alt)? Nothing about the actual characters are the same. And we wouldn't need to do so unless it was for the not so level headed people that are out there.

Not that he shouldn't be in the game, but if Reptile is included wouldn't it be more out of sentimental reasons, given how little he's done in the storyline as of late?

This is where I pop in and say that the only ninja in MK is Scorpion, the rest of them aren't... but it would just cause alot of unnecessary disturbance to the thread. ;P

Back to the topic though. I feel like Rain could make it, but due to him being DLC has put this permanent stain on the very idea of him. I HATED Rain until MK9, so I'm actually holding hopes of his return.

I mean he wasn't as horrible as people claim him to be.

I've always seen the edenian race as just beautiful people. Sindel was probably ridiculously beautiful before she got old. Kitana, Jade, and even Tanya are beautiful. It would only make sense that Rain be beautiful too.lol.

Seriously though Rain is the ninja I have always asked be unmasked. Except for Sub-Zero. Still want a costume similar to my avatar for him.

Rain should just have shoulder length black hair though. No ponytail like in MKA.

And I really hope he isn't anything but a ninja, and I hated the voice they gave him in Armageddon, much to manly, Rain isn't the type that has a Rock (the actor) voice, but more of a Vega voice, a sneaky voice, not a bodybuilder voice.

Rain has always struck me as the least masculine (but not effeminate) of all the "ninja" characters, and it's not because of the purple.
