Better Story?

Rain is one of those characters that has an awesome background and his narcism is open to all kinds of awesome future storylines.

I hope he isn't a ninja in this game, more like his Armageddon's design, and a ninja suit like in mk9 for his alternative. I want to see some hair on this vain character, all vain characters have long hair. I'm not a big fan of his MK9 design.

Anyway I hope its true, but i'm 95% that Ed Boon is just trolling with us, he hates Rain so this is too good to be true...

He's one with a better Story but they can do it even more better :)

Rain has this story that can evolve into everything as its not fully evolved yet because Boon hates him.

But his story is already much more promising than Scorpions endless vengeance and Mileena & Kitana's endless story together.

I hope Rain and Tanya get something together (not romantic) and start something interesting.

I would love it if Rain got another chance. He clearly has a dedicated fan base and he was one of the most requested characters for both the main roster and DLC. I can honestly see Rain and Tanya being the traitor duo. I think it would be cool and would add something to his story. I'm all for Rain.

Rain has so much potential. He'd be a great inclusion.

Plus he is in my top 3 for sure.

And please Ed Boon and Rain haters, drop the Purple Rain song thing please.

Scorpion is based on Ghostrider, Kitana on Prinses Peach and Sektor and Cyrax modelled after Predator and Terminator...

So what difference does it make that Rain was called after a song? Its freaking, fucking damn original, that is! Much more original that named/based on another character!

I wished more characters were based after song titles, I love that creativity! But too bad Boon sees it as joke, he sees everything as joke, except for Scorpion and Sub-Zero...

Don't really see how that hints Rain. But Rain is one of my favorites. So I'd welcome him of course. But he should be the new King of Outworld.

Vainy characters? lol wtf Rain's MK 9 costume was good as hell, his MK armageddon outfit looked like a ball dress for real, hes suposed to be masculine, not femenine.

You really think "you dare approach me", "you will learn respect", "you are a monstrosity", or "I will drag you to Shao Kahn by your pointed beard." is kind, lolwut. Plus theres tons of other princesses in fiction that have a personality closer to Kitana than Peach, so why her.



Since when was Kitana about butterflies and flowers. Nobody really knows what stuff is she interested in other than peace, her homeworld and her edenian people. For all we know she could be interested in collecting the heads of her victims on a bookshelf



Again theres lots of other princesses that want to save the world, why Peach.

I commented to all those points you gave before you said you were joking, to show you why theres almost none similarities betweet Kitana and Peach. Whats wrong with that.

The question is - what's wrong with him.

Rain is one of my favourite characters, so hinting to him being in MKX is awesome. ^^

I will buy two copies of this game if my prince is in.

If Rain makes it. I hope he has different fighting style, fatalities, and move set this time.

Turn Rain into Vegeta! Make him an anti-hero/anti-villain!

I could see Rain as the anti-Liu Kang.

Rain would never be good tho. He is the traitor king, no sense in making him a hero or anti-hero.
