Anyhow, I assume Tanya will be returning anyway as she's one of the more popular MK4+ characters, mentioned as potential DLC for MK9, and is tied in with the whole Shinnok affair. Plus, she's Edenian so she won't age at all.

These silhouettes are probably trolls. I mean the pork pie hat guy looks so much like Rorschach's iconic outline, that it is almost ridiculous. All of the people on Event Hubs kept saying Q, when it's clearly meant to invoke Rorschach. I do get the joke, Boon.

Though the troll is fun, I do miss the days of MKDA/MKD when the photos were of legit characters soon-to-be-seen (Though MKD's was misleading with both nano-Smoke and classic cyber-Smoke getting separate portraits at E3).

Possibly Hellraiser at the bottom right corner, may be a stretch. Second to the right of Sub-Zero could be Jesus Christ. As someone suggested, it could be one of the ninja turtles at the bottom left, but I don't get why there are so many things hanging down from his head. That's all I got right now, unfortunately.

Like I said while I doubt this is what's happening ,it could be.

The reason I doubt is because now I'm thinking this game is mostly new characters. Returning characters are going to be few and far between unfortunately.

Definitely a troll screen. Boon is known for messing around with things like codes because gamers analyze everything. So he knew we'd be looking hard at these things and couldn't help but play with us.

That's how i'm seeing it. The dude with the fedora is a dead fuckin give away and people went crazy. Even saying Freddy was in the game.

I am intrigued by the notion that these dummy placeholders are somewhat indicative of the characters, though.

Yeah. I'm pretty sure she explodes into a bloody mess when thrown; she's the slow-moving lady in the background. Torr throws her at Subz later, but misses.
