By the looks of her uniform, Cassie might be part of the Outer World Investigation Agency. Maybe her parents were murdered, and she's gone through the portal looking for their killer(s)?

I think we might see Raiden, but maybe this time as a deranged god. Maybe he's lost it (again) after the events of MK9.

I could see Mileena as the ruling Queen for Outworld. That would be pretty sweet.

Looks like Cyrax if you ask me. And there's a similar one to the far left of the bottom row that could be Sektor.

It shouldn't affect a good chunk of characters if they were to return.

Edenians age way slower than people on Earthrealm so 25 years shouldn't do anything to Kitana, Jade, Sindel, or Tanya, even Mileena perhaps if they were to return. Bo' Rai Cho would probably look the same if he were in too.

Creatures like Reptile and Baraka can get away with looking the same. Same with Ermac since he's composed of souls. There's also the cyborgs, Quan Chi, Fujin, Raiden, Shinnok, etc.

It's pretty much characters from Earthrealm that will probably be the most likely characters that will age if they're in the game.

personal opinion is speculation will be minimal seein Cassie Cage leads me to think shes possibly the daughter of Johnny Cage and Sonya so this games well in the future so its going to be primarily a new cast minus maybe 5-10 older characters

Yeah only Earthrealmers should do any aging.

There's a little more justification with the time skip though. People can pass down moves and fighting styles over two and a half decades. So some person that randomly never met Sonya won't being using her moves, for example. At this point I'm waiting for the inevitable ninja female who has fans/sai/staff as her fighting options.

I was talking about Earthrealm characters. Edenians live for god knows when(10,000 years old is considered young).

And Outworld characters most likely have very high life spans.

I'm pretty sure a lot ( if not all) of those silhouettes are there to troll people. That's definitely a shot of Terminator in there. No use trying TOO hard to outsmart NRS. They've learned their lesson.

You know what I am almost certain those aren't real characters. Just look at the actual character box's everyone is facing forward now look at all the shadowed ones. Yeah it just doesn't add up.

Roockchalk, there is the DeVorah's fatality, indeed. But, from my point of view, there is a little frame in which Boon put (don't know, eh) Tanya, like a EE. I'm like Tanya, but with a few spots destined for classics, I prefer another character to take "her spot".
