Holy fuckin' shit. I never liked the Ultra combo rip off Brutalities, but these new takes are brilliant.
- Can be combo'd into for style
- One for AT LEAST every variation
- Not bullshit ridiculous like previous Brutalities
- Character specific
- Short and sweet
I got everything I wanted out of these new finishers.

I like what I saw as well, just took some getting used to......it's much more 'realistic' in the flow of battle, that's for sure. It especially works well for shock value too with how quick it comes about.
I still stick by my suggestion at the title Specialities. lol It's basically Super Special Moves anyway.

I was definitely underwhelmed by the whole stream. The brutalities are basically just fatalities without the "finish him" cue. I kept waiting for that question mark to turn into a character icon. We didn't even get a new level. Also, no gameplay from Goro. Bummer.

I feel like people aren't understanding the implication of instant fatalities and the variety and tension that will create during a match.

The Brutalities are cool n all but I was a little let down, only cuz of my own build up of reveal for Mileena.

I am honestly feeling the Brutalities waaaaaay more than the Fatalities in this game. i agree with everyone else. The quickness of them has an old school feel that I love. The really cinematic, drawn out Fatalities they are doing these days lose a bit of the 'holy shit!' impact of faster old school Fatalities IMO.
And the fact that you can perform them at the end of the 1st round and cut the fight short is awesome. Unlike death traps in MK Deception I don't mind the early finish because in this case it requires more effort and skill. Death traps could be really fucking annoying in that game because they were so cheap.

Finally someone who doesn't praise nrs for any and everything. Mrs could slap shit on a screen and call it mk and all these nrs cum lovers would praise them for it.

A ridiculously long dial-a-combo into the same explosion over and over? Real interesting!

Absolutely with you guys. Its crazy that people wanted old brutalities, that is beyond retarded and I'm glad they are disappointed.
But as far as a giant combo goes that is totally up to the skill of the player considering you end your combos with them. Thats my favorite part about them! they flow so well into the game play! I just wonder how difficult the requirements for them will be, or how practical will it be to do one in a real match where the players are of equal skill. Either way tho they're hype as fuck. And when you do come across a player of much lesser skill...thats when the insanely large creative combos leading into them come out. I cannot wait.

Nahh its quality over quantity especially when you're virtually doing the same thing in fatalities as brutalities. Brutalities and fatalities were not the same thing. They were two completely different endings to an opponent. Nice try though nrs cumguzzler.

The Brutalities seem more like Fatalities than the Fatalities themselves is the ironic part. What I mean is that the Fatalities are long and drawn out while the brutalities are to the point, sometimes literally. And no, this doesn't have to do with Jax throwing Jarek off the cliff.

Your butthurt over people not agreeing with you it out of control. "Completely different endings" You mean fatalities versus an explosion of 7 ribcages for every single character? You call that variety?

Brutalities were basically Ultra combos like the Killer Instinct franchise. I think you can style with whatever flashy combo you have in mind, then you can end your combo with a Brutality.

Did I miss a statement in the stream? Where did they say the fight could be ended after one round? They were just fighting one round fights. I'm sure they just had the settings set up that way.

You can only do a Brutality in the winning round, and the attack that triggers the Brutality has to bring the health to 0. You can't just do an enchanced move after the first round and do a Brutality.
Not how it works.
Man!!! I loved this new take on brutalities. I'm now convinced that the teased one was probably one of Goro's
I really liked how the stream was straight to the point. They got rid of the mumbo jumbo & just went straight in.
Thanks to this stream, I am now a believer again.
