They're fucked. I mean they dont completely suck but its pointless when you compare them to fatatlities which is much bettet. These are boring and bland and give no excitement.

I agree that being able to do them has its own payoff but that's diminishing returns imo. If the appeal of Brutalities was the difficulty to you, we should wait to see what the stipulations are for performing one. They could be just as hard or more hard than the muscle memorization of a huge input string, requiring actual skill in the heat of the fight. And as for names, I'm not so sensitive about them. I never expected them to be the way they were anyway so I figured it would be more of an homage.

Brutalities are better than the Fatalities I think! Short and to the point!

I loved that as well. I feel like the Brutalities are going to be so full of allusions to MK's past. I immediately thought of Cage's OG MK1 fatality when she did that, or his triple-head fatality. Some of them are literal old fatalities characters used to have. I think it's great. SO much potential.

Thank god the brutalities are character specific and varied(assuming each variation has a different one) and no dumbass long combo strings.

The new 2015 brutalities look great! I like that they are 2D instead of 3D and I love how the screen doesn't get dark when you perform them.

This is a flawless addition to MKX!

But Tanya..... still nowhere to be found. I guess I will have to setttle with my other favorite kharakters Sonya Blade, Trollssie Cage, Kitana and ETC etc.

My thoughts exactly. Some part of me actually suspects they did it to please the tournament scene, so they could still have their fatalities but without having to go through the entire fatality cutscene. (It's all about saving time.)

And since Cassie will be one of my mains, it was nice to finally see her in detail.

- That double Nut Punch is fucking awesome.

- The Salute actually does damage if opponent is close enough.

- Her Shadow Kick is a part of a normal combo string, just as I thought.

- I love that she has an over the shoulder throw after she breaks the arm.

- Did away with the Glow hands for Yellow gloves. I can dig it.

I'm actually quite pleased with her. She looks fun as hell and her attitude makes her very appealing. Can't wait to play me some Sassy Cassie.

IMO the stream was kinda underwhelming, but I loved the new stage with the giant statue of Kotal Kahn being constructed.

I mean, brutalities are cool.

I guess I am just more excited about character reveals.
