They said there's over 100 brutalities. Unless there's 50+ characters they will have more than 2 each.

I went to YouTube a few minutes ago just to watch the MKT brutalities, and all I can do now is laugh at them. Dial-a-combo, then someone ends up a big ol' pile of them bones.

This is a modernized take on the same thing, its a combo into an instant death that requires certain skill/qualifiers. I love the brutalities! Sometimes quick and simple is better!! And for people whining about wanting a huge dial a combo brutality remember you end your combo with them so the combo size is totally up to you and can be something new and original every time! Thats so much cooler! It adds so much fuckin style and won't get repetitive after a while like the fatalities.

And i was ridiculed when i said this would be the worse mk reveal EVER. and it ultimately was. Its sad when the best part of the stream is a confirmation for something coming the next day. Hopefully tomorrow is a story trailer to show a couple characters we may or may not see to keep us guessing because this was trash.

Seem like Fatalities for those who have difficulty doing them and evoke a feel of the 2D era games. Still think Scorpion's Meat Torso should have been a Fatality. Maybe this will also bring back classic Fatalities like Kitana's decapitation since Cassie already kind of did her father's decap at the groin.

I literally did the same thing. Raiden's Brutality was always my favorite. Seventeen uppercuts, two kicks, twelve more uppercuts, then BOOM! The MK2 sprites lack of animations always killed me haha

So I'm guessing every character has 4 brutalities, one for each variation and a generic one across all variations?
Say 30 characters x4 brutalities = 120 Brutalities?

Maybe I'm just getting old but that really is nothing as far as time goes. It will be here before we know it. I guess some people want to know more because they want to buy it launch day if it meets their requirements? I dunno. Just seems weird to me to be getting so antsy this close to release but to each their own.
Finally brutalities look cool in my opinion. Thank goodness they got rid of those stupid long combo's. They were the worst finishers in the series in my opinion.
Love that new stage they showed with Kotal(?) statue in the background!!! Looks absolutely breath-taking.
Scorpion plays amazing. So damn quick and the pressure he can mount is unrelenting. You can go from a low poke to spear? That seems so sick. The Ninjutsu variation looks like the one to go for. The medium pop-up with the two swords can yield incredible damage. Ermac looked garbage.
Looks like he plays as if air is treacle. So slow. I hate slow characters.
Cassie is more of a Reptile where variations do not change much about her at all. She only gains two moves. The American Way taunt is a nice touch but I like Hollywood the most.

Dont try to change your own narrative to make them sound good. The variety is better? They're basically fatalities what variety is there? I love the brutalities but I am a little disappinted that we didn't have a character reveal but I know I will get over it. The stream gets a 8/10.

Dude I've always hated brutalities and when I heard they were in this game I was praying to god they changed them up. It's quality AND quantity. It's better in every way. There's no narrative to change. Brutalities were all the same before and there was less of them.

Fucking LOVING the brutalities. Holy shit. Not what I expected at all. What a game changer to be able to end the fight after round 1. I love that!! The specifics to pull one off really bring back the arcade feel, too.
So does each special work out to be a Brutality if the requirements are met? Seems like it. So essentially, each character would have like 6-8 finishers? That's insane, guys. So much content.
