Was anybody else bothered by the fact that Takeda's soul went to hell? I mean, I know he was raised in an assassin clan, but I didn't think he had carried out any heartless missions at such an age.

This comic was an awesome idea, I'm glad they got buddy buddy with the dc guys. I hope the game has the same story structure and character development, it works. Raiden screwed scorpion, sub zero, kotal and earthrealm, Kotal screwed mileena, mileena screwed goro, reiko screwed mileena in a couple ways, havik is screwing reiko to release shinnok who screws everyone in the name of chaos. Sounds great lol. I thought black got his head cut off for a second lol.

Well apparently if the last game proved anything your soul can go to hell just because Kahn and Troll Chi struck a deal, so I guess anything goes.
Unless killing Fox in self defense counts as going to hell....

Yeah that is a little strange, as far as we know the only person he has seriously hurt was Fox and I think he was justified in doing so. Maybe stabbing a god (Raiden) means instant hell for you when you die lol

Stabbing a God is hell bound for sure lol. I thought it was like hades where everyone goes to the netherrealm when they die. Do righteous souls go live with the gods?

The Elder Gods couldn't really give a shit about where people's souls went. I think they have a Void of their own while "Heaven" is just a separate place for those righteous souls. Might seem harsh, but at least they're not demanding constant worship and ruling the realms with an iron fist. They're like, "Meh we don't want anything to do with you mortals, but we'll let you chill to make sure the One Being doesn't wake again."

I figured, that was all over and done with. With Shao being dead and the war being over. Would Quan Chi have reason to go after Takeda?

Prepare yourselves, it's gonna be a bumpy ride.

I wonder if Havik's motivations are to lure the Thunder God to Shang's Island for these reasons. Whether he actually intends to let Reiko kill Raiden remains to be seen, but we can be certain that all hell gonna break loose.

The comics will continue post launch. This is not the final print issue. D'Vorah is on the cover of Issue #5.


Kittelsen already confirmed that no matter what 36 chapters(12 print issues) will be issued this year.

If it keep selling out like it does it will go on after that.
