Quan Chi story wise, was awesome....before MK9. He stole one of the best villains spot light in Shang Tsung. I want Sareena to appear in the next game, hell I wanted hear to be DLC in this one. The one thing for me thats saving Quan Chi from me getting sick of him is his insane game play and the cool trickery/vortex stuff you can do with him. All of my voting includes not just character storyline, but also gameplay., especially when concerning the new MK.

If this contest's votes were taken from those who post, Sareena would have won.

I vote Quan Chi, he isn't the most powerful character storywise, but he more than makes up for it by being a sneaky bastard, and I love that.

His design is bad ass. (Especially his MKDA unused alternate which is now his MK9 alternate and my favorite costume)

His moves are bad ass. (Despite the fact his Tele-stomp and Skull were ruined.

His story is bad ass.

You cannot deny his voice is bad ass. I'm glad it's the same as his MKvsDCU voice actor.

And he's always been one of my favorite characters in the series.

Honestly, Quan was at 100% the moment the competition started and Sareena had 0% when I'd voted for her, and even with the overwhelming amount of fans voting in favour of Sareena, he's still a higher percentage. It doesn't make sense how so many people are saying "Sareena" yet Quan mysteriously is at a
near 20% advantage that he's had since the polls opened.

I can put money on it that it will end up as one of the male ninjas vs another male ninja in the final. It will be either Scorpion, Sub-Zero or Ermac who wins it.

I can't tell if you guys are joking or if you really don't understand that the poll takes a few moments to update. There have been times when I voted right when the new poll went up, and then afterwards it showed me the results from the previous matchup. The only way this would be rigged is if an influx of ghost accounts recently appeared to sway the vote.

Seriously? Just because the poll results don't update immediately after you vote doesn't mean your vote isn't counted. There are also silent voters to consider, who make up the majority of the votes.

A character most people have never heard of vs one of the most recognizable villains in the series? Gee, I wonder why Quan Chi is winning. I'm surprised it's as close as it is.

Are there any characters like that amongst MK fans? Although I'm surprised Sareena is doing so well too. I expected Quan Chi to completely wipe the floor with her.

Mostly towards characters that were brought into the series during Deadly Alliance - Deception is what I'm going to assume. One of my buddies and I were playing Deception a while back ago, he couldn't even name half of the roster seeing how many new characters were in.

He didn't even know who Kenshi was, and from what I've seen on this site, he's a very popular character.

If you can't believe that, I'll also mention about some stuff I see on Youtube. There are still people in this world that believes that there are five Sub-Zero's instead of just one played by two brothers. They really think it's five different people, not just one (two).

There are people who don't know that much unlike we do when it comes to this game. You'll be very surprise when you see such stuff and you want to change that but you know you can't, or, you try explaining it and they think you're a weirdo because you play the game a bit more than they do.

But honestly, there needs to stop with this "I think the vote is rigged" thing. We're in round two, fans are going to be more aggressive and defensive with their reasoning to vote for someone. You can have thoughts and opinions on who you think might be the final two characters that will make it in the end, but realistically... nothing is being rigged here.

I'll take the emperor's daughter over the Prince album.

In all seriousness, I just like Kitana more. I dig her style, the fans, and I'd love to see her have a bigger role in the future.

Rain? Well, I like what the MK Team did with him in MK:A, and they did make him a fun DLC character in MK2011, but I've just never been all that interested in his story.

To me, the edge goes to Kitana.

I'll do anything to see Kitana falls.I hate her. She is just whiny. And I hate royal guys. I hate her story and design and her appearance in MK9 is among her worst. Kitana improved in MKDA but went downhill from there. Her death in MK9 is easily my most favorite part. Loved the fact that I tweeted Vogel a lot to do that, not like he listened to me , but to see something you want coming true is always great.

Rain is as bad as her, but I just don't want to see her win nothing more.

Don't get me wrong, Kitana's my favorite color.... And I love fans as weapons, I just never thought she pulled them off right. She's too.... I don't know... It's like the fans are cool, but her fighting style doesn't make the fans cool... It makes them boring. She should look spectacular fighting with those things, there should be a really cool, stylistic way that she moves and fights, but she doesn't. Her moves lack style, but I do actually enjoy how she plays.

Talking just about her looks, she is hideous. The first costume is okay, but her entire head is a mistake. The alternate costume is just a bad design through and through. I've felt like throughout the entire series she's never quite looked right, something has always been off in her design (except for the 2d games, not that those are brilliant designs).

I have nothing nice to say about her story either. She's as typical as female characters get.

Rain really just gets bonus points for having my favorite theme in a series of color coded theme ninjas: Water. That's enough to put him in my top five, considering how few characters I like in this series... This competition has made me realize that more than ever, haha.

Kitanas probably my favourite female, and while Rain has the *potential* to do something big in the story...he won't.

Anyhoo, I vote Kitana. You just can't really say no to this woman. Still, one day I would love to see her rise and become queen of her realm (in which then my fingers are crossed that Sindel becomes a goddess, any reason will do).

Rain is really cool, though. I really want to see him further developed.

Kitana has the most unique weapon in MK, but I feel like her fighting with a pair of war fans should be more elegant like the weapon was intended for, but its MK i doubt anyone really cares. I also think their a bit too big for her (the war fans, and perhaps maybe something else...0_o) but again its MK. Because of Kitana, I really got into creating a pair for myself (the war fans people...although...o_0) I really do love that weapon, its really a beautifully unique weapon.

When it comes to her looks, I was never a fan of her leotards, they got boring after a while, so I was excited to see her in something new in MK9. One of the things I HATE so much is her hair. Who in their right mind wanted to give her ridiculously long hair? It was horrid in the 3D era, its horrid now. I prefer her in a bun ala Shaolin Monks render (her best look yet even if it is in a leotard) or hair MK2 style. I agree with everyone when they say her alternate costume in MK9 is by far her worst design, if not THE worst costume in the entire game (besides Sonya Blade's primary). It looks unfinished, lazy, I hate the hair, the face takes some time getting used to ( something about her nose, and I don't know her lips looks a bit too puckered.) I do agree that I have yet to see a costume that really wows me.

I like her storyline. Her life has been a lie (shao kahn not her dad, mileena not being her twin sister, etc.). She wants to start over and create a new life for herself, but sadly she will never get the chance to make things right. In my mind, there's a lot you can do with that.

I love Kitana, she's my favorite MK female. It used to be a tie between her and Mileena, but Mileena irritates me in MK9, I just don't like this new child she is, its annoying. If a female were to win this contest, I would want Kitana to win. She's beautiful, has a unique weapon, she's pretty popular, and honestly if she were to win I don't think anyone would be too upset about it (yeah people would be upset, but I don't think it would become a huge flame war) we all respect her!

So my vote goes to the Princess of Edenia!
