He's from a realm where the laws of physics were literally destroyed by a god, where the land is floating islands, pyramids are upside down, coffins hang in the sky instead of buried six feet deep, and people don't die from anything short of dismemberment. He talks without lips because his body is fuckin' magic.
Now Baraka...there's a creature produced biologically, so how does he talk with no lips?

Noob Saibot. Come on he's the original Sub Zero. When I found out that he was Bi-Han i was all like "WWWWWWWWWWWWWWWhat?!". I thought that was the coolest. A character controlling ice then becomes a specter from hell that is pretty awesome. Noob Saibot hands down.

Hmmm... Noob gets my vote.
Not because he is the original Sub Zero (I liked him better when we didn't know that) but because Havik doesn't really interest me.
I think Havik is an interesting character, and his special moves are worth a chuckle. But he fails to really interest me as a whole.

Noob Saibot because he is my favorite character in all of Mortal Kombat. I find Havik very interesting, but he can't top my favorite Kombatant.

As much as I like Noob, this one goes to Havik.
Noob redeemed himself in the newest MK with a cool moveset and a good spot in the storyline and he's always had something cool about him, but I didn't really liked playing as him in past games. I wasn't impressed by the whole "he's the old Sub-Zero" twist that he got all of a sudden, but I've always liked that he seems to have a personal scheme. Too bad we never really got to see what it is he wants, it's always been a bit vague and his motivations were always kept in the dark. His Arcade ending in the newest MK put some spotlight on what he wanted, but never why he wants it.
Havik was an awesome and unique character since day one. His looks, his moves, his storyline, being the Cleric of Chaos whose sole purpose is to make sure chaos thrived. it's just awesome and he doesn't need any more motivation than just that. He's from the Chaosrealm, it is what he does, it is what he lives for and he does it good. I liked the whole Chaos/Orderrealm thing going on in MKD, I just wish we would see more about it and I hope it will happen in the next game.
So Havik gets the vote!

I really hated Havik at first, but when I learned a little bit about him and Chaosrealm it made me like him more. Their whole lifestyle is fantastic, heh, and how they hold water sacred because it's chaotic and Orderealm wants to contain the water or whatever. I love it.
I vote Havik.

I honestly have a feeling we will see Havik again one day in a future MK.
Havik.
I actually like both Havik and Noob Saibot, but as of now Noob is an evil minion with generic "bertray your boss mindset". It's not unique for MK and he needs more original design rather than just "all black". I mean, I'm OK with his balck costume, but I hope that he will have something more original as the alternate suit in the future. Though in general I like him as elder Sub-Zero much and hope that he will return one day with his old personality. His gameplay representation in MK9 was awesome, but a bit uncomfortable. He needs easier combos, I believe.
Havik is a pure representation of Chaos. I am big fan of all things Chaos, so this character in my spirit. Alongside Hotaru and Asrah he was one of the best newcomers in MKD. He had good design, interesting special moves, though the fact that he recycled styles is not a good thing. In the future he needs more special moves and definitely new fighting style, possibly with emphasize on his "chaotic" ability to twist his limbs. His fatalities weren't that great (one was somewhat recycled from Quan Chi), but his Hara-Kiri was hilarious. In general this character has enormous potential and, since he was one of the few "future" characters referenced in MK9, I believe that he will appear in the future games. Preferably with Hotaru as his rival.

Had to go Mr. Saibot on this one. Havik's a cool character and I enjoyed him in Deception, but damn, Noob's portrayal in MK9 was absolutely spot on, can't really say much else :P

Voted Noob Saibot.
I loved the way they revealed him to be the elder Sub-Zero in Deception and how it was the evil in his soul which made him this way. It was just good storytelling to me.
My favorite dynamic in all of MK is the dynamic of Kuai Liang and Bi Han.
Kuai Liang
Best friends with Smoke in childhood
Looked at his path and realized that he did not want evil to overcome him.
Fought against the people trying to control him (Lin Kuei)
Reformed the Lin Kuei into a force for good
Ultimately sided with and was one of the shining beacons of the forces of light
Bi Han
Re-wired smoke to serve him in Deception.
Let evil overwhelm him
Served those who hel control over him loyally (Quan Chi)
A highly skilled member of the brotherhood of Shadow
Became one of the most evil characters in all of MK
They just took two completely different paths which shows the complete contrast in them even though they are both of the same bloodline. It was a great story to me.
Also, I was hoping when it was revealed that Noob Saibot was indeed the elder sub-zero that it would finally shutup the talk of Elder Sub-Zero coming back. However, even to this day it has not, and I honestly do not know why.
Anyway voted for Noob Saibot because even though I like havik, I feel he beats him on every level.

Two great characters here. Havik had an extremely strong showing after only one game, and is all kinds of funny and disturbing, but Noob has risen from the ranks of mysterious grunt to a serious force to be reckoned with. His murder (near-murder, rather...stupid MKD Gamecube) of Goro, the MKD brother reveal (subsequently giving him all of Mythologies as backstory and then some), his alteration of Smoke and partial success in creating a cyber-demon army...he's one of MK's characters who's done best for himself. By far the most successful of the bad guys' attack dogs. And he had a nice strong showing in this game. His ending, though non-canon, is a reminder of how serious a threat he can be (And the Havik cameo was very welcome).
If that's not convincing enough? Three words:
Make. A. Wish.
Noob was incredible in this game.

Havik only has potential.
Noob is already awesome.
To elaborate... Havik's concept is great. Breaking bones being incorporated as a fighting style is an outstanding idea. However it was squandered by Deception's completely uninspired movesets. All of Havik's bone breaking is purely aesthetic. The technical aspects of the moves are still painfully boring and unoriginal.
If he returns, I'd like to see him doing new moves based on his bone breaking ability. There's so much awesome shit that could be done rather than having him break his bones and shoot another generic projectile.
