There's an argument that Reptile and Ermac share the same vintage, but I'll let it lie there because Reptile should clearly win anyway.
They are even more furious than yesterday, battling! Dun-nu-dunnu-dung.
EDIT: Will we ever be able to bring the souls of Zaterra back?

I meant seniority as in, Reptile became playable first.

Come on Reptile!! :D
Very surprised Ermac took the lead, considering Reptile's arguably one of the most classic and longstanding characters in the series

Just inserting something funny, unless you count ERror MACross first, then Ermac was playable first.

Oh my god, it's the most heated battle yet! I like Reptile, but Ermac's the winer in my book. Maybe if Reptile gets a lot more recognition from NRS he'd be as good as Ermac.

He's an acid spitting, camoflaguing, head-eating crossbreed between a dinosaur and a human. What more could you want out of Reptile? And I do think NRS have some love for aul Reppy.
*Possibly the most memorable secret character in the history of the franchise
*One of the most memorable movesets (acid spit, forceballs, invisibility)
*His debut was as a saurian disguised as a human in a ninja garb (gotta admire his taste!)
*Had the honour of having two theme tunes made specifically for him (one from Skrillex and one for his battle with Liu Kang during the film)
*Is the only consistantly playable male saurian in the series, and quite possibly the fans only hope of ever seeing Zaterra ever being restored or elaborated upon
*Commanded a giant fucking snake to attack you in Shaolin Monks before challenging the heroes himself. Dude can control a Giant Python for god's sake!
*Unlike Ermac, he has his own level that is established in game as being his arena (Reptile's Lair)
* Despite being known as a walkover, he had the balls to stand up to Shinnok in his MK4 ending, a fallen god, and in later games had full intentions on killing Nitara for her betrayal in MK:DA
*Was one of the only 3 characters in MK9 to have a vintage fatality brought back for next gen consoles (his Head Eat)
*Is also immortalised in MK9 as a secret battle which pays homage to his debut
*Has been in 7 Mortal Kombat Games, and made a cameo in Mortal Kombat Deception
He's a lot cooler than people give him credit for.

Keep dunking your Kenshi breadsticks into your Skarlet sauce, people! The main course isn't coming for a while, and you never know when it's going to be disappointing.

I voted Reptile last night, and honestly, I didn't think it would get this close.
I love both characters, so I'm happy either way.

This is so even it makes me sad. I want Reptile to win, i love Ermac too, he is one of my favourites, has an awsome story, great moves and a great look. But i have a big atachment to Reptile, i've always had. Even though i like his mk9 costume, being able to play as human reptile after all this years was one of the best things of this games for me.
Go Reptile!
Go Reptile!
I've always liked Reptile. I mean, come on, the guy has a fatality where he BITES YOUR HEAD OFF! Ermac always seemed a bit tacked on, like a throwaway character. However, Ermac took about 100 levels in Badassery before MK9, and may just be the BEST ninja in the game now. As such he has to get my vote, though just barely.
I'm sorry, but what photo? The one Jaded posted right before this post is just a picture of Ermac in (I think) his MK9 Alternate costume.

I can ́t believe people prefer Ermac over Reptile. However, i knew Ermac would win this poll .
Right now Reptile is the less popular ninja in MK

Trusted enforcer to Shao Kahn, Baraka is a Tarkatan warrior -- one of a race of nomadic mutants who populate the armies of Outworld in abundance when they come of age. One of the last survivors of the realm Zaterra, Khameleon knows not the companionship of an army. Khameleon seeks the loyalty of Reptile, who has pledged to Shao Kahn, as well. It's an all-out animalistic war as Round 1 kontinues with natural born enemies!
