As for this next vote-off, I am voting for Stryker.

Mokap was a joke character, a good idea for a joke character, but badly performed. Though a joke character, he could still have some uniqueness to him. Dan Hibiki from Street Fighter have moves that looks like the Ryu-clones', but performed in a unique way and he was FUN to play as! That's not the case with Mokap. He's got little to no background story and had no significance what so ever. He didn't bring anything to the main roster.

Stryker has always been a cool character, in my opinion, even back in the MK3-MKA days where people shunned him like if he was the Black Plague. He has some unique and interesting moves, and I liked the idea of him being the ONLY character not able to do any sort of magic, but relied solely on his skills and police gadgets. He's grown ALOT in the latest MK game and his cool factor rose through the roof! He's one of the better and fun characters to play as.

So therefore, I vote Stryker!

I don't understand how anyone could vote for Mokap.

I still maintain that the only reason that he was disliked is because the actor that protrayed him was a little pudgy, Looking in my MKT PS1 instruction manual Stryker is depicted as muscular.

I only liked Stryker when I saw him in MK9. Mokap was so useless and dumb, he became cool in my book. I'm voting for Mokap. fuck you haters.

Stryker is so old-fashioned when he uses a flashlight. Mokap is a flashlight! Stryker also needs to wear a cap so that he doesn't get blinded by Mokap's awesomeness. I've heard a rumor that Mokap became so rich that he hired Stuntman to do all his work. Here is a Mokap sketch o' mine!

I don't hate Mokap. Yes, he is a joke character, but he's a joke character with a purpose. He represented the many motion capture actors who have brought so many games to life. I'm not going to hate on that. So I respect Mokap as a character.

However, Stryker has been my favorite Mortal Kombat character all my life, ever since I first got UMK3. I think I've stated a billion times why he's my favorite, beyond reasons of pure love. So I have to vote for my guy. I'm not voting due to seniority.



Speaking of which, some of you guys seriously need to cut that out. Stop voting on a character purely because of seniority. That's idiotic. Vote on the quality of the character, please. Same goes for people voting against seniority. Everyone, just vote honestly.

This was tough for me because I like both. But I voted Stryker.

Stryker has been one of my favorite characters since MK3. I loved his moves, his look, his fatalities. Everything about this guy was cool. Then Armageddon rolls along and he gets even more badass. Finally MK9 arrives and people start realizing just how cool Stryker is.

Now with Mokap, I didn't like him at first. But then he grew on me. I wouldn't go as far as calling Mokap a joke character, more of a tribute character. Really there's nothing funny about him other than "OW MY BALLS!" I actually did like Mokap's moveset in Armageddon (even if some of his special moves didn't make sense).

Sidenote: Mokap has a higher vote percentage than Kobra. Wow

Now that Stryker's got some much better finish moves, and his combo system is updated a lot more since MK3, I respect his character/gameplay a lot more, also I love the flashlight X-Ray, by far one of the best in MK9.

Out of all the crappy characters to come out of the MK series, Mokap is the only one I ever felt had potential.

Of course, he's never coming back, but I'd totally root for him if he did.

Still, I decided to vote for Stryker, because he's the most improved crappy character so far. I mean, he's actually not crappy anymore.
