My dear friend, don't forget to vote for Akkro in the KAK Tournament, he has that very same move. Punches character into a portal, comes out the other side through another portal and gets kicked in the face. Hey I'm just excited that you'd describe a move that I came up with when creating my character, AND some good advertising for Akkro wouldn't hurt!

NOW! Rain, I'm eager to play as Rain again as I feel the roster of MKT is complete, I like the water themed moves and even though they did give him the teleport slam from Noob, it's better than having Rain be just a palette swap like in the old days. The intro is kinda lame but I always skip them anyways, and so does everybody online. I'd rate him a 9/10 from what I've seen but I'm hoping he will be 10/10 in terms of gameplay.

@Trini, So in this game where everyone has a fireball and move where they dash off the screen or teleport through the back wall, you are upset about a little overlap on the 3rd DLC character? One who started off as a complete palette swap? In a series of games that used to have 90% of the cast using the same goddamned moves?

Everybody bitching about the throw should note that the opponent comes down from above, Rain does not. He materializes from the floor where he had been.

Water Shot - Not sure what the fuck is up with this. I was hoping at first that it was maybe his throw, but the rain drop is his forward throw, so either this is a stupidly animated back throw or they just gave him this dumb ass move. If anything they should've just made this the normal projectile and the control ball the ex.

Control Ball - Not sure what the difference is between them, unless its just time held, but they both look to hold for about the same amount of time. Maybe you can't block the EX, or maybe the EX is the only one you can pull toward you?

Roundhouse - EX Version has armor, thanks for showing the scrubs how to punish sheeva stomp on wakeup, NRS.

Vert Kick - EX Version teleports, it actually looks like there might be some variation in this, he comes up in front of Ermac, but behind Sindel and Sheeva. Also, he can do it from the air.

Lightning - EX Version tri-hit and has a better launch.

And another full screen xray that's way better than Sheeva's Maybe it'll do shit damage.

The Trilogy cast is complete so we can all stop moaning and groaning and move on But, the only time Rain will ever really interest me, is when he loses those ninja garbs and takes off that mask. I mean I still am excited to play as him, but, he's still just the purple "ninja" for now.

The file limit is 250KB, that image is almost 4MB. So, you'll both have to remove it.

Of course you wouldn't use it as it is. Your own signature was made using a ~10 MB gif of Cyrax's intro animation extracted from an HD .mov file. Most of the moderators' animated signatures started out the same way. Modify the original file as needed to meet to the forum's requirements.

Rain looks good,not amazing,but still good enough to me to buy him. I think some borrowed moves ruin the first impression on him. Well,I will have to try him myself to give the final decision.
