You know after looking at the video again i just see Rain doing the same 2 combos mixed with his specials.

its a fucking "THROW" not an "Attack" move, you cant combo into it like you can with Noobs, so how are they the same???

Y'know, "now they can make Kitana's classic fatality" was my first thought after seeing Rain's finisher too...but shit, I hadn't even thought that the whole "Blueberry" thing could involve a finisher instead of a costume.

He leaps straight up into the air, comes up behind the opponent and grabs them, and then the opponent is dropped onto the back of their neck.

That is how they are almost exactly identical.
Oh, and on the subject of the hose move, I would also guess it's mostly intended to push the opponent away. Like Squirtle and Mario's hose moves in Brawl.

Second fatality looks like it ends with a decap.... too bad...

In before the gay community suspect rain's intro pose signals that he might be gay.......

He has his flaws but they don't really bother me, I like what I see. However, he could stand to use that water blade he generated in his 2nd fatality in some of his combos. It would help him stand out some more. Also NRS could given him a brighter shade of purple. Also am I the only one a little peeved at the veil moving so much!

Now that I'm done bitching at those miniscule flaws, I gotta say I love both fatalites. Hopefully that inflation signifies the return of Kitana's best fatality later on one day. Also I'm so relieved they didnt leave the super roundhouse
out. Thank you NRS for keeping ALL of his MKT moves! I think the first thing I'm gonna do with him is roundhouse Kratos in traning mode and yell "Road house!"
And but not least I actually like his intro, it manages to say something about his personality without words unlike Kenshi and Skarlet, plus it's flashy. I've always seen Rain as a flashy person

That's my guess- that it's analagous to Sonya's Kiss or Sindel's Scream-
not that Rain *needs* more "free hit" moves, but I guess they decided to push that aspect of his MKT style to the limit

I also dig his intro, as I feel like the spinning is in imitation of a Cyclone or Waterspout.

The *only* thing that disappoints me is that X-Ray,
but hopefully, the last hit will be awesome

The second Fatality is not as cool as the first,
but breaking their effing legs OFF *is* pretty brutal,
and that "water sword" looks neat, but I'm sure it will lead to a boring decap.
I wish he used that during combos...

correction he grabs "R1" or whatever it is on the Xbox, Noob "attack" up, down,,

Noob does a "launch combo" then "up, down" = combo connection

Rain does a "launch Combo" then "R1" = nothing happens

Noob does an Enhance "up, down" = drop through a hole twice hits on the third

Rain does an Enhance "R1" = you look like a clown

Noob attacks a blocking opponent with his "up, down" teleport = Noob doesn't connect and gets Punished

Rain does his "R1 teleport" on blocking opponent = it grabs and hurts opponents

so theoretically they are "Completely different"

Basically what ya eyes are resulting you to see, will fuck up your game play ,
