Looks like Rains Roundhouse is a stance move rather than a special, check 1.11 of the trailer to see he goes into a stance like Sonya and Liu Kang

I don't know what you were expecting, but I find *little* to complain about,
and I'd be among the first to cry bloody murder if they ignored his MKT moves too much. Sure, Kenshi's quite different because they wanted him further differentiated from Ermac, but Rain's MKT moves were original from the start. No need to mess with that.
I'm not sure why he got Sektor'sTelepunch, though... maybe as interest on his Lightning Strike from Nightwolf?

The only parts that fell short of my expectations were the X-Ray and the Decap Fatality. His actual moves are more or less *exactly* as I wanted them,
and his winpose *is* exactly what I wanted... almost uncannily so

Almost everything about Rain is perfect! Its gonna be a long week.

Don't get me wrong, I'm ALL for Rain being included in this game (A bit late seeing how he should've been in from the jump), but that gameplay was a tad underwhelming. Especially seeing how they (NRS) had this whole thing about characters being more individual this time around. Definitely still getting him though.

Although what im worried about on my end is S roundhouse reversing sides mid combo.....that always messes me up lol.

All i can say is DAMN that was amazing. i never really liked rain since his lack of involvement in the story.....and the umk3 ninjas are not quite as held close to my heart as some people on here. im glad they really made him more of his own character here. i am now a fan. cant wait!

bah now to wait for the klassic kostume reveal.....waiting for information on this game is addicting ^.^
