It just think there are too many movies made for the sake of it. Everyone wants to do a zombie movie because it's still considered popular at the moment, and it's cheaper and easier than any other horror basis.

But, there will never be a zombie movie more exciting than Snyder's Dawn of the Dead.
There will never be one as funny as Shaun of the Dead.
There will never be one as genuinely creepy as Zombie Flesh Eaters.

It's all treaded ground. Why do it again and again and again.

Dawn of the Dead was awesome.

Yes zombie movies are easy to make rather than a sci-fi movie. But there are also too many horror's too in that case. Teenage killing psychos, Killers in masks. But if make good, then no one will complain.

Zombie flesh eaters is the creepiest of all zombie movies. I'd say the best one is the Dawn of the Dead remake.

I know I will never get the amount of funding for something like that. But work with what you have, limit mistakes, get the fear running, get the story plausible, and there is something in it. Zombies are not real, but there has to be the sense of realism shown.

This is why I take things serious when it come to creating something. And it's shown on this site. Through my created character or my way with words... Guess my passion for it gets the better of me.

ultimatesavage - I hope you get it together and come back next time. I'll give you a review for Shoulen somewhere down the line, granted at the rate I produce them it may take several months. Everyone can improve; don't be too arrogant to think you cannot. Yes you lost in a match where I thought your character was the better, but the majority did not (that or you alienated yourself, either way it still would have been close).

Remember that even series icons like Scorpion have a large amount of people who simply don't care for them. It happens.

I particulary hate zombies, and i did not enjoy any of the zombie movies i watched but "Otto, or up with dead people". I think that was amazing and made me realize that there are always ways to do something great AND original, even with something that has been used so much and so long as zombies have.

Even if it's nothing like that, good luck with your movie ;)

I'm not wild about giving away the game as the top prize, so I threw in some other things I believe are collectable and fit with the "art" theme here. Most of you probably have the KE, but I hope you can enjoy it anyhow. I'm not one to sit on prizes I already have here with me for no good reason.

Crow another question about the prizes everyone is from different parts of the world, so obviously certain codes, game etc wont be usable by most. Sorry I'm not ungreatful I just foresee problems, anyway if there are indeed problems and if by some small miracle I make it top 3 I'm happy to donate my prizes to a deserving entry.

Yeah I kinda want to get third place too. I like the prizes but third seems the best IMO. I still wish Jax007 would draw the character who wins 1st place. I think that would be the coolest prize seeing as how his work gets mistaken for actual MK artwork.

In all honesty as much as I would like the codes, I enterd this contest without the knowledge of there being any prizes so they are not all that important to me, quite frankly just getting this far in the the contest and having people say they like my character is a huge honor.
