Why change it after we're more than halfway done; you decided to keep other aspects like voting structure uniform throughout.

And when you mean in order, do you mean finishing off bracket one and then doing bracket two? For instance, for the start of Round 3, will you do Ravyn vs Kruor and then Malice vs Tao Fei?

I think I mentioned this before now, so this isn't new. It was never my intent to run 3 matches per day. Plus, it's not really a "rule" as it won't impact who wins and who loses (the other things you mentioned would). I simply don't want the contest to be over and done with in a few breaths.

And yes, that's how the matches will be ran after tomorrow. Again, I don't see how this is a very big deal since it shouldn't affect who wins or loses.

I know this has kind of been touched on before, but is there anywhere or anytime in the tourney where those still in could submit an updated version of our character? I think it would kind of refresh some interest again. I guess this would only really be fair if everyone was able to do this again, and by a certain date, but I think it would be a good thing.

I very much like the idea. I hate to admit it but I get so bored of reading six characters sometimes... I would like to read each entry thoroughly without getting impatient, and this is a perfect method of doing so.

There is no shame in losing to any of these characters that made it to round 2. Hell I'm currently biting my nails on Tyron vs Abyss. If I lose I won't feel too bad as Abyss is a good character. But I'm just letting Miko know that "It's fucking ON!!!!!!" lol

2 Fights a day sounds right to me cuz these rounds are much harder to decide in my opinion :D

Again, no one received a 5 out of 5, but 7 characters received 4.5 out of 5 (my character Lorsid received a 5 out of 5, but that's just because I visualize her the best in my head since I created her). A little over halfway, not bad!

My concern is more with the momentum of the contest and losing community votes. Turnout lessens each day (there have been spikes here and there) and I just picture one fifth of the final round being decided by 15 people.

I do agree six characters a day is overwhelming and who knows, maybe slowing things down will ignite the vote.

I do respectfully ask that we go to 2 matches a day for the top of round 3 just to balance it out a bit.

Sweet. I'm gonna be on pins and needles all day tomorrow and this cheers me up abit.

Crow, you are SO the man! Not only did you host a terrific tournament but these prices are great, I think MKO should give you an award as well.

Now, I don't think my character will get 1st, 2nd or even third place, but if I do win something, I'll donate it to whichever user hasn't had the chance to get KE on X-BOX (I don't have an X-Box) or the PS2 MKA (Which I have) or the DLC (which I have as well) I'm just really happy my character made it past the 1st round and as a thanks for those who voted for Akkro, I'm willing to share whatever he wins with ya ;)

I can hardly wait to see how this tournament concludes!

I decided to write here about Serenity's ties with the Elder Gods and Armageddon here rather than in the voting forum as not to clutter it.

Anyway, I actually do like Serenity's back-story but if you're going to contradict canon, just work it into the bio. Something like, "The Elder Gods had changed since Raiden tempered with time, growing distant and cold towards the perseverance of the realms of mortals."

A lot of us are MK nerds and will notice things like this so it's best just to address them head on. New timeline means new opportunities and if you weave these ideas in a clever manner, people will appreciate it even more.

Well since this is my very first KAK tourney i had NO idea how to properly write the bio (as you can tell how i completely ruined my ending in my bio, talked about her fighting style in my bio, and pretty much didn't make it a bio more of a entire summary)
