For the top prize, I may be able to substitute it for the PS3 Tournament Edition which I also have to give away. If the winner wants to make that exchange, that's probably something that I could do. Sadly yes, our prizes are region bound but there's no real way we can get around that. For our players in other regions, things like the posters and the MKA games (since really they are collector items, being signed) are probably the best prizes.

I may just give the winner a choice on what prize they would like, and go from there.

Dont take this the wrong way Crow but I think I'd rather have the third place prize. But that's only because I already have the Kollectors edition and have yet to download any kontent for the game.

Hmm, by the time the kontest ends I probably will have already downloaded all the characters. I already have the two who are out. So here's to hoping I don't make third, unless there's some alternate option available.

That's fine, I understand that. Still though, technically speaking third place is "worth less" than the other two prizes overall. I realize people may have the KE so I tried to throw in other cool prizes to compensate for that (as I doubt most have signed copies of the game or signed posters). But really, it depends how much you value the signatures of the development team I guess.

We'll try to work something out regardless.

Not to be bold but I think my character Shiku has a legitimate SHOT (long maybe) at getting to the top 3. Not to take anything away from everyone else, but of course Im bias for my own guy. And any of the prizes I would be satisfied with, it would have been pretty sweet to see a real artists take on my character though, maybe someday tho, and that would be the best prize by far lol.

Shang Tsung's courtyard, night. All the remaining competetors await the next match of the tournament.

Shang Tsung: The next match will be Khibok!

(Khibok makes his way to the center of the arena)

Shang Tsung: ...versus Yamiko!

(Yamiko walks slowly into the arena and faces Khibok all the while keeping a blank expression on her face. Khibok takes one look at her and scowls)

Khibok: Tell me, what kind of coward hides behind a child?

Yamiko: Tell me, what kind of fool dares to call me a coward?

(Khibok growls in offence)

Yamiko: I am Chemnos the most powerful demon in existence and rightful ruler of the Netherrealm. And once I win this tournament and take my original form I shall once again reclaim my throne.

Khibok: You are fool, a delusional one at that.

Yamiko: You should be more respectful Tejiu warrior.

(Khibok widens his eyes in suprise)

Khibok: How do you know of the-

Yamiko: Tejiu? I told you I am the rightful ruler of the Netherrealm. There may be infinite realms but there is only one hell. And all the damned souls in the multiverse came to me, this includes souls of fallen Tejiu.

(Khibok sits in silence staring angrily at Yamiko)

Yamiko: Perhaps you are not so skeptical of my identity now? Tejiu? (Laughs quietly) Rest assured once I dethrone Shinok I will personally see to it that the souls of you and your people suffer for eternity for insulting me.

(Khibok growls in anger.)

Khibok: (quietly) Forgive me Yamiko, but I cannot allow this monster inside of you to live any longer.

Shang Tsung: FIGHT!

Thanks guys! In regards to what Media, that's a hand drawn picture that I scanned then edited slightly with gimp just to make sure there was no blurs or smudges. I was going to do her cooch-stab fatality but I figured that might be too graphic lol.

She's slaughtering Skarlet because both are considered huntress's for The Emporter. And Kuwinda doesn't like the fact Skarlet's hogging her spotlight! lol :P

GIMP, eh? I should use that more often.

Literally, the only thing I can use it for it to select where certain colours and blemishes are on the page and remove them by brightening/darkening it lol. I've a lot to learn with it. I was going to use it on Kuwinda's original sketches to make the alternate colours in her primary and secondary costumes but then decided a fatality pic would be better lol.

How long is left in the competition?

Ok, so I've almost got all of my ratings done. only like a few characters left. I have to admit, I haven't been as into the competition since my character lost in the first round (even after winning the community vote), but I'm still gonna try to get all these done and posted. For now though, I will post my favorites. These are the few characters that received 4.5 out of 5 (no one received a perfect score). Several of these characters were a few nit-picks away from a perfect score.

Very well done to Kamionero, FlamingTP, umbrascitor, NoobSaibot5, TheAdder, and ultimatesavage.

It's really a shame Shoulen lost to Krustacean...he was certainly one of the better entries.

As of now, my favorites are probably Kuwinda and Merrick, though Kruor wins in the overall coolness category.

I will be slowing the rounds down after this one, for those wondering. Matches per day will shrink down to two, and I will be going in order and no longer from bracket to bracket. This is simply to ensure we all actually have time to enjoy the thrill of battle and competition; no sense in rushing it to the finish!
