What you just said, was utterly retarded. I am a straight person, and I would like to know what gay people think. Gay people are more open about their sexualities and how they feel than other sexualities. I think that is one of their best qualities and that's why they are truly amazing people.

If you're so pissed off that there's no thread about straight peoples favourite characters, why don't you use your brain and post one rather than writing useless comments in a thread you don't agree with.

EDIT: If I remember correctly, in the first post on this thread Skyboy did say that this thread isn't only about gays and such. So no need for anger in here. Oh and sorry for being so late ._.

1.You're welcome to make a thread for straight gamers, it's not like you're not allowed to dude.

2. These characters are not real people, I don't judge people in that way and I doubt anybody who posted in here does to such an extreme degree either, but again these are video game characters who murder each other. I don't think people should be outraged about it. If somebody said Sonya was slutty looking( I disagree with that assertion by the way), I wouldn't take offense, but if somebody said someone I actually KNOW was slutty, then yes I would. Treating video game characters like they're real people who are going to be heart broken isn't really what I would do, personally.

3. Some people (gay and straight) have been clamoring for Sonya and Johnny Cage's relationship to be given more of a focus, Liu Kang and Kitana's as well, and there's nothing wrong with that. Some people like romance stories, so what? I like stories where people are going off to war and they leave behind their lover and have to cope (gay or straight), it makes an intriguing story. When times are bad, people come together for comfomfort, sometimes it's platonic other times it's in romantic ways.

I agree that romance isn't necessary in MK, but if Street Fighter can have a gay character, why can't MK?

It's not like he'll have to parade around with an "I Like Boys" T-shirt or have a story where attraction to other men is the main focus. Just a simple cutscene where his dialogue shows or suggests that he's gay or bi would be enough.

If Mileena's dialogue can scream "I'm a horny slut," which is entirely irrelevant to the game's story or even her own story, then there is a way of establishing a gay character in MK without the need for any actual romance or sex.
