That's the sad part, they haven't really done anything with her. She was amazing in MK3, storywise, then they put her on the back shelf for a good while. She has a lot of potential and she's a very interesting design. Couldn't replace Kitana to me, but she is awesome.

I can so see that happening. Especially after her MKU ending. Poor Kitana just can't take it anymore. I really liked seeing that side of her.

Hey, I thought it would be cool to play with everyone here when this game comes out. I don't have a PS3 myself, but I do have access to one. Indeed, this is exactly what inspired me to have Kitana break down after Armageddon. :P

They haven't done anything with anyone. The only character that seems to grow is Sub-Zero, everyone else remains stagnant. That's the exact reason why I'm against making new characters "just cause".

New characters come and go and the next time we see them is at the next Trilogy game. There are so many characters that need to be fleshed out and utilized instead of wasting time make a new character.

I think with exception of Nitara and Kenshi, there really weren't any interesting designs post MKGold. I agree, which is why I'm liking this game a lot! All those bland designs are out, just space for making the good characters great!

When I choose to play online, it's mostly on Super Street Fighter 4, and I might do so on the new MK as well. So if anyone wants an easy target, then they can choose to fight me. XD

Well I'm not gay but I would add you guys when I get my PS3 hooked back up to the Internet, because I'm cool like that haha.

I think the 2d era had the best characters by far both male and female
they were well conceived and felt more original.
when it came to the 3D era with the exception of one or two, the team just ran out of ideas and new characters just felt so generic.
Ive always been puzzled as to why the mk team would create the intriguing characters but then get rid of half of them in favour of brand new characters
It most fighting game sequals they keep most if not all of the original cast and then add a few new characters. that way established characters evolve more naturally whilst retaining familiarity.
The flip side is that some of the original cast that have remaind throughout were tweaked and changed so much that their playstyle was almost unrecognisable (I'm looking at you Miss Blade)
Ultimatly what I'm saying (and I'm jumping a little a head here) if and when it comes to future games, dont be so rash in dropping half the cast
because I don't want to have to wait another X amount of years to use Sindel, Ermac and co again.
