I didn't feel like discussing this at all with you in the first place, but if you're going to ignore my valid points, it really becomes redundant and not a conversation at all. I'm talking about how I mentioned that people do NOT get praised for being stiff in the ring, in fact they get praised for being safe to work with. This has nothing to do with being a smart, this has to do with what the business truly is about, and it's not hurting people- it's about the illusion of fighting. Illusion.

that was bullshit, imho! i was so happy Edge lost to Hardy, then afterwards pissed, cause i kinda then wished Edge had retained, cause Punk winning the title then, would've made me happy! but either way, the two biggest pieces of shit, Edge and Orton are no longer Champs, so that makes me happy!

I'm also happy Edge and Orton are no more champions but I'm saddened Batista is now wounded. He just saved us from the legacy. And less than 24 hours after becoming WWE champion, Orton and his fucking annoying hunt dogs destroyed him. That's just an obvious proof they suck and are bad losers. They should be fired for good.

Your post made me have a good laugh, here's why:

Do you not know how heels work in wrestling now and days? Mostly if there's a team of heels, they'll do what it takes for the guy who has the belt to try and retain the title. The Legacy is a team filled with heels with Orton as... or was, the champion in the team. He asks his teammates to help out in his matches to help him win. This has happened so many times with other teams that are nothing but heels and it hasn't changed.

They suck and are bad losers? No, it just shows how a heel team works together and shows how good they are despite the lack of good script writing. Honestly, some of the things they say make me glad I change the channel to the Cubs game or what's ever on. But this certainly does NOT show that they suck and are losers. They show you how a good team can work together. I wish my softball team could work as well like these guys can.

They should be fired? Are you like 12 or something? Fired? Really? Just because the show has heels and because Orton can be a really good heel when he can be he should be fired? What?

On my thoughts, I'm losing focus on WWE so much that I refused to watch it yesterday because I've seen nothing but crap. Unless they can somehow make a great comeback and stop firing the good wrestlers and keeping the useless, I'm gonna say that I'm gonna be done with wrestling. But... I really don't want to go down that path, seeing how I've been watching wrestling since I was three.

The new general manager of raw is:
Spoilers: (Highlight to reveal)
Flair

Also During tonight's ECW on Sci-Fi broadcast, WWE announced how they will be handling the situation. On Monday night, a new WWE champion will be crowned in North Carolina during the 3-hour Three-For-All Raw special. It will be John Cena vs. Randy Orton vs. Big Show vs. Triple H for the WWE title.

As of right now, sources within TNA claim that the company is interested in both Mr. Kennedy and Umaga. One member of upper management sees dollar signs in a program with Umaga and Samoa Joe. Kennedy and Umaga's 90-day no-compete clauses with WWE will be expiring just a couple weeks apart from each other late in the summer.

-- CNN.com reports that a Slim Jim factory exploded in North Carolina the same day as the Macho Man Randy Savage DVD release. The explosion was pretty serious and left 3 people in critical condition.

The only good GM RAW ever had. Regal had tons of potential but sadly I think we didn't get to see what would have established a legacy for him.

Wonderful. I see we're back where we started because for the third time (I think,) you've still failed to grasp my point about kayfabe. I DID acknowledge your "valid points" already, which is why I quoted myself to point it out. I just said pro wrestling was about violence, then went on to say that yes, the violence is worked, but it isn't supposed to matter which aspects of it are worked and which aren't to fans, because in kayfabe, everything that happens in the ring is "real." In kayfabe, the polish hammer which killed Stevie Richards is just as real as all the punches and kicks which preceeded it. This is what I have been saying for several posts.

Now you're like "no you don't understand that it's about the illusion of violence!" Which is completely redundant given what I've been saying over and over. And you're still talking about the biz, still displaying a complete inability to be merely a fan rather than attempting to be an all-knowing smart. Seriously, do you ever suspend your disbelief for anything in pro wrestling, or are you too busy analyzing everything and sucking the fun right out of it?

lol, it was a bit weird to be honest.

Chris Masters was praised for the Polish Hammer, the announcers raved about the brutality, and it really lead to a strong debut by him. I'll admit, it shocked me, and made me interested in him. So, in the case of that, he was praised for hurting somebody.

The announcers raved about the brutality? In what country?
No, Masters was not praised for doing something that wasn't supposed to happen and injuring one of WWE's workers.

Shibata, I don't over analyze anything, and I do suspend my disbelief. But you were talking on a professional level, that Masters stiffing someone was a positive thing (not to mention your constant approval of all things stiff). It's obviously not.

INDEED! Nobody plays the prick that everyone loves to hate better than Eric Bischoff. I still wouldn't mind seeing him make a return, but he's actually had some success in the production of reality shows lately, so I doubt he'll ever be in a (WWE) ring again.

So, did anyone watch Superstars last week? Morrison vs. Jericho was amazing. They need to put these two in a feud for the IC Title pronto!

I'd say give the win to Morrison, have a lengthy title reign (where he builds a name for himself, and gives loads of prestige to the title), then have him drop it months down the road when he's ready for the main event scene. I hope WWE pushes this guy to the moon.

Morrison is ready for the big times. I hope WWE doesn't blow it.

As for Bischoff, it's doubtful he'll ever return full time. I'm sure he'll make spotty appearances a'la the Rock, but a full time return doesn't seem likely. I guess money talks however, but Vince would have to shell out a fair bit to get him interested probably.

I have horrible news.

Mitsuharu Misawa has passed away.

Mitsuharu Misawa, one of the greatest pro wrestlers of all-time, was declared dead at 10:10 p.m. Saturday night at a hospital in Hiroshima after being dropped on his head in a tag team title match.

Misawa would have turned 47 on June 18th.

Misawa & Go Shiozaki were challening Bison Smith & Akitoshi Saito for the GHC tag team championship in Hiroshima and Misawa was dropped on his head at about 8:45 p.m. and knocked unconscious.

According to eye witness reports, Saito gave Misawa a "routine" back suplex that was described as a "7" in danger on a scale of one-to-ten. He did not get up. It was chaos in the ring as they attempted to revive him using CPR and the crowd was hushed for a while, and began a "Misawa" chant. He turned purple in the ring and was rushed to the hospital in an ambulance.

His heart stopped beating in the ring. The cause of death may have been a heart attack.

The wrestlers were told on the bus that he had passed away.

While it is being reported that he passed away at the hospital, he may have actually passed away in the ring.

Misawa was the Japanese high school national wrestling champion at 187 pounds in 1980, and was recruited by Giant Baba into All Japan Pro Wrestling. He gained his first taste of stardom in 1984 when he was chosen to be the second Tiger Mask. After unmasking in 1990, he became an even bigger star after a series of singles matches with Jumbo Tsuruta.

He was Japan's biggest pro wrestling star of the 90s, and one could make a strong case for him as the top wrestler of the decade. He was the Wrestler of the Year in 1995, 1997 and 1999.

After the death of Shohei "Giant" Baba, Misawa wrestled a little over one more year for All Japan Pro Wrestling, while working as company president. After consistently butting heads with owner Motoko Baba, the widow of Shohei Baba, he and 90% of the All Japan roster quit the company to form Pro Wrestling NOAH.

RIP Misawa you will truly be missed. It's really sad to see a tragidity like this to such a great wrestler a legend.

Just last night, Japanese wrestling legend Mitsuharu Misawa died in the ring

Being a huge HUGE fan of All Japan Pro Wrestling, I am incredibly saddened to hear of his passing.

The load bearing pillar of the four heavenly pillars, and the King of Kings Road, the true King of Kings. RIP Mitsuharu Misawa. Arguably the greatest pro wrestler ever to have lived.

I am so deeply saddened by this that I'm not sure if I can watch pro wrestling again for a while. I might take the day off tomorrow and just spend it watching Misawa's art.
