I really liked it when everyone was down and he looked all around to make sure of it and he capitalized on the opportunity and took advantage of it.
And about Show i still think they should have been pushin him a long time ago like they did Andre The Giant.

Well, for one thing it was too predictable. I was pretty sure Orton would win but Trips or Cena could have as well. All I knew for sure was Show would be taking the pinfall, of course taking all 3 finishers was something else entirely.
Problem being... Show always comes off as looking weak and he really doesn't deserve that. No wonder no one can ever take him seriously... he's spent the last few months jobbing to Cena and RAW just furthered it. He never wins anything; it's hard for him to gain any credibility as a heel if he always fails to win.

see Crow, what i meant was, i thought we were agreeing about Big Show should've won the title. Triple H would've been good, but i agree with you about Show in that match. there's no way Orton should've been able to beat him. the only reason Orton even scored the pin on Big Show was after Trips and Cena did the damage

i know that's the kind of character he is, that's the point i made. one on one he can't take the Big Show.
as for Show, WCW pushed him as Andre's son for awhile, anyone remember that? but he did get pushed well in WCW. but since he's been in WWE now, recent weight and mobility issues have kept him from being as good as he was when he first came into WWE in '99. people have to realize though, that it's not entirely due to him being a "lousy wrestler" as Zent said, it's due to age and he's got the same issues that plagued Andre
Cena isn't a lousy wrestler at all, and Batista isn't either. They're both really good at what they do. Cena actually carried Khali to his best WWE matches, and had one of the best Last Man Standing matches I've seen in years with Umaga... who was possibly the most exciting monster of all time to watch wrestle.
Batista is also capable of performing quite well. He's not technical, but at least I know what to expect every time. Explosive moves, and impressive displays of strength. His match with Cena at SS was really good, and he had some great matches with Triple H, Taker, and Edge (not that it's hard to have good matches with them.) I also liked the way he clicked with HBK.
Big Show is severely restricted in the ring. He is good at what he does, but he doesn't need to have the belt to be credible.

Age or not, he's still a lousy wrestler. I'm not saying it's not because of his age, I'm just saying a fact. Show's lousy man, he can't run the fucking ropes. It's the truth. How can you push a guy and put world titles on guys who just aren't good? Kane and Undertaker are big men who can actually move and wrestle. Khali actually looks like a fighter rather than a fatass like Show, and he actually has some flexibility.
Please, Big Show can't do fuck all in the ring these days. Certainly not wrestle. You can't compare him to Cena and Batista, they're far better wrestlers AND athletes.

I heard that Shawn was thinking of coming back around Wrestlemania time but I hope its before that. However, I agree The Heartbreak Kid needs a brake.

i'm sure he'll be back before then.
hey, i thought i'd bring this up, cause it seems to be all over the news, but what do you all think of the recent Sting Retirement rumors? think there's some truth to them? do u think he'll try WWE or do something with them before he leaves wrestling for good?

It's hard to say to be honest. He seems to be about as good as he ever was. He's still very over with the crowd. I just don't think he's had a real passion for the business for a while(I could be wrong, but that's just my observation). If you believe some of these reports, he's been talking about retirement every years since his return. But at the rate Dixie Carter and TNA throw money at the man for minimal dates worked...that's just hard to say no to.
I absolutly DO NOT see Sting ever going to work for the McMahons. He is not interested in the hectic schedule that comes with the WWE. Plus, he's a product of WCW, Vince has little to no idea of what to do with someone he didn't create(other than to belittle and ultimately wish them well in their future endeavors).
So, it's that time of week where I have to rave about Morrison again.
His match with Edge was fucking awesome. These two need to have an all out 20 minute Brawl at The Bash. No joke. The way the commentators leads me to be even more convinces he'll be champ someday.

well, when i said do something with WWE, i meant in a DVD and/or getting inducted into the HOF thing. i know he's got no desire to wrestle for the WWE, but he's never said that he has no desire to at least do something with WWE

Ah, excuse my misinterpretation. I could see something like that happening after his time in TNA wraps up. There was a Sting dvd in production at one point, but I'm sure his TNA involvment halted that whole thing. After all, the WWE owns his glory years (wcw library) so I'm sure something a bit more definitive would be beneficial to both Sting and WWE.
Samoa Joe turned heel to side with the Main Event Mafia after easily having one of the most hateful feuds I've ever seen in wrestling. A guy who came out with a knife threatening to take out every single member of the main event mafia, made Booker and Scott bleed, choked out Nash, etc. Now joins the people he hated the most. Interesting, or bad attempt at a storyline twist?

I just can't wait to see how they explain it.
A couple of years ago my reaction would be ''wow can't wait to see how they explain THAT''. Now it's ''god damn it I already know this angle is going to suck''.
It sure is fucking mind boggling how this could seem like a good move. That's Russo, alright.

I'm reminded a fair bit of this: Styles/Trigg.
Anyway... RAW was really no better, but at least the Trump thing didn't last very long. It seemed like a really obnoxious way to turn Vince heel again. But heel Vince is a lot better, of course. But there's still no GM... sigh, the new 2 week rule will be evoked I suppose.
But really...

well did his TNA involvment halt it? i mean Ultimate Warrior and Macho Man dvds were made without either of them involved. i'm guessing is that maybe Vince has some respect for Sting's contributions to the sport, so would most likely want to collaberate with him on a dvd. guess we'll see what happens when Sting "retires"

i agree there. and like Shyriu asked, is Russo legally retarded? is there any way we can get him commited some how? the dude fucked up WCW, yet claims it wasn't his fault, he comes in a ruins TNA, yet again claims it's not his fault, and that idiot Dixie Carter is like his biggest supporter. Double J, take control of your fuckin' company, it's going to shit!

is Vince a heel? after that promo he cut on Orton, seems he's not quite heelish altogether. i could see Vince throwing out Trumps idea and hiring a new GM for Raw, but we'll have to see what happens next week
