Damn...Judgement Day sucked. Mordecai was cool, but that's pretty much it. And if I read correctly, WWE is thinking about using Halloween Havoc or Road Wild for pay-per-views? What is it with the WCW ppv's? Speaking of ppv's, RAW's Bad Blood and SD's Great American Bash are both in June. Are we gonna have two pay-per-views per month from each brand, or is this a one time thing?

They are gonna try this 2 times a year for this year and next and see how it works. So instead of 12 ppv's a year, there is gonna be 14. The odd thing is they might do one of these on a Tuesday

OMFG!!!! 14 PPV's!! Oh geeeeeeeez. Other than the big 5 PPV's, the other's are like a crap shoot. You never really know if they are going to be good. And now they wanna add two more?! Oh man! See this is why 5 PPV's (Survior Series, King of the Ring, Summer Slam, Wrestlemania, and Royal Rumble) or at least 8(Inc. Backlash, Bad Blood, and one other) should be the limit.

I think they got rid of King of the Ring man... which sucks cause I always liked that one...
Anyways, I agree with u...there should be like 4 or 5 ppv's a year and every month without a PPV should have a "Saturday Nights Main Event"!!!!

Damn, I liked King Of the Ring. But yea B-T, you have the right idea. Why have so many? They should only have about 5,6, or 7 a year, and the months without them should have a special showing. Its all BS if you ask me. Which, no one did, lol.

Im glad to see that now there finally doing something good with Kanes character... ever since they started building him up as this unstopable force that seems to be worse without the mask, theyve set him up to lose a LOT of matches, so now hopefully there gonna work with his character... i noticed there also starting to develop Batistas character...

Call me nutty, but I like Batista a lil bit...I think he's got the goods, he just needs some personality and some mic skills and he's golden. I think him and Orton are two of the future champions, should they stay in the WWE.

You're nutty. I think Batista is a good wrestler. And like you said he needs to work on his mic skills to help him get over as a true force to reckon with.

Backstage RAW News, Christian Gone, HHH/Smackdown; More:
Christian was not at RAW last night due to a sore lower back. Tyson Tomko took Christian's place at house shows this weekend, and management is pretty high on his performance. From what I've heard, Christian is expected back within the next week and a half or so.
Matt Hardy has been used on and off as of late due to a sore knee.
Many people backstage at Smackdown felt that it was pretty odd HHH was backstage at Judgment Day rather than working his own brand's house shows over the weekend. The RAW wrestlers felt the same way, and as stated yesterday -- HHH is now said to be the "number two" guy at WWE shows, other than Vince McMahon.
Major Breaking Details On Eddie's Hospitalization After PPV:
As reported Eddie Guerrero was taken to the hospital after Smackdown's Judgment Day PPV on Sunday night. Originally it was thought only to have been done as a precautionary measure, but I have spoken to some people who have said there was acually more to it, and came across a few details on the situation.
Sources are reporting that Eddie actually went into shock after his match with Bradshaw on Sunday, due in part to the severe blood loss that he suffered, while also trying to overextend himself, and becoming dehydrated. It was said to have been a pretty scary situation backstage at first because not everyone knew about what was going on, but Eddie was taken to the hospital in shock, and given IV fluids as well as sixteen (16) stitches for the gash on his forehead.
The severity of Eddie's cut was not intended to be nearly as bad as it was, but this was just a case of Eddie getting caught up in the moment and blading a bit too heavily. The plan was not for Eddie to lose so much blood that he couldn't go on, and the result of that happening sent the match from being dramatic to being a little bit scary and gruesome to many backstage. The thought was that it took away from Eddie's comeback to where many people were questioning whether the match should end or if Eddie would pass out any second, rather than paying attention to Eddie's babyface in peril role in the match.
Eddie was released from the hospital late Sunday night / early Monday morning after getting the fluids and the stitches in his forehead. It is expected that he will be at tonight's Smackdown tapings.
Goldberg To Do First Real Shoot Fight In 2005; Details:
I have been hearing that Goldberg plans on doing a shoot fight in PRIDE sometime in 2005. He has always wanted to be involved in a shoot fight even though it may not be in his best interest to risk his reputation over one fight because if he were to lose, and lose bad, his reputation as a monster and his powerhouse gimmick would be completely , and would be pretty much non-existant after that happens. Though, Goldberg feels that if he were to win a shoot, his marketability in Japan would rise due to the fact that Japanese fans would pay the most money to see someone marketable and popular, rather than just "the best" fighter.
The feeling is that the Japanese would pay a big amount of money to see Goldberg work in a shoot, and if he's put against someone who he could potentially beat, it could be a good idea in the long run.
Through all of this, Goldberg is a guy who is set for life financially, and while there could be a lot of money involved if Goldberg were to do a shoot; at the age of 38 with a banged up body such as his, many feel that it would not be the best thing to do.
Goldberg has spent many years training groundwork for shooting with Tim Catalfo, and recently he has been regularly training in Muay Thai.
More Big RAW Notes, Roddy Piper; Vince/JR, More:
As far as tonight's battle royal for the number one contendership on RAW, for what it's worth, Kane vs. Chris Benoit is still the plan on top for the 6/13 Bad Blood pay-per view in Columbus, Ohio.
WWE will be holding a press conference on 6/1 at the Air Canada Centre to announce SummerSlam coming to the ACC on 8/15. Vince McMahon, Jim Ross, Chris Jericho, Edge, Christian, and Trish Stratus are all listed as appearing.
Roddy Piper's most famous movie "They Live" will be airing on Space: The Imagination Station in Canada at 1 a.m. on Tuesday.
X-Pac And DDP Backstage At Judgement Day, Lance Storm, & More:
Apparently both Sean "X-Pac" Waltman and Diamond Dallas Page were backstage at Judgment Day last night. Both men live in Sourthern California, which is probably why they stopped by.
The recently retired Lance Storm has updated the new Question & Answer section of his website. Check that out at StormWrestling.com.
Fool.com currently lists WWE as one of six recommended stocks to buy if you are a "lazy investor". Ouch.

Kane is one of the few people who you'll ever see get jeered, then cheered, on the same night, without actually going from heel to face. I loved when he just stood there after HHH hit him with a face buster, then chokeslammed his ass. The crowd was roaring when Kane and Batista stared each other off. Kane and Batista should be a good match if that ever occurs.
Randy Orton is an excellent heel. The crowd hates him, and he knows just how to piss them off. His match at Backlash showed off his ability to get hurt too.
I think Shelton Benjamin needs speech work. I just don't like how he talks. It's not as annoying as listening to Paul Heyman speak, but I just don't think he's speaking clearly and fluently as he should when on a microphone.
Finally, if HHH and HBK do fight in Hell in a Cell, it better be damn good. And I mean, I'm expecting the cage to be torn apart, as well as at least one announce table, and maybe a chair. I would have preferred that Kane have eliminated HHH last night instead of HBK, with HBK having been a distraction instead of getting physically involved. Would have shown off Kane's power more.

Really, if HHH and HBK have a HITC match, it should conclude their rivalry. I'm tired of this whole back and forth thing btw the two.
Your right about Sheldon needing more mic work. But hey, look how far Benoit has come from when he first arrived in WWE?
OH!!!! Batista is that mo fo I'm waiting to see shine in the next few months. As long as he stays healthy(meaning he doesn't tear his biceps again) and they give him a push against Kane, then he'll be on his way to challenge for the championship. In fact, this whole Kane angle thing is pretty pathetic. He's like that huge thug that just does whatever he want's until another monster comes along and sets his ass straight. I think Batista is that guy! Hopefully Monday was a preview of things to come between thoese too.

LOL, yeah, good funny moments like those are hard to come by these days. I hope that Kane and Batista get to fight, those two SOBs would put on a hell of a show. Kane against Benoit at Badd Blood should be interesting.

Owen Hart Movie, Bradshaw News, Zach Gowen Update
USA Network has a movie planned called "Ring of Lies" based on Martha Hart's book "Broken Lies" chronicling her legal battle with WWE after Owen Hart's death. (Fuck, another excuse for her to make money on this, I don't know why she just won't let it rest)
Bradshaw has jumped from Fox News to CNBC for a twice-weekly segment on "Bullseye." CNBC is the no. 1 rated financial news network, but much less viewed overall than Fox News.
Former WWE wrestler Zach Gowen will wrestle on the June 4 and 5 Jeff Peterson Memorial Cup events in Brandon, Fla.
Mick Foley/Summerslam News, Tazz/Cole Upset With Vince:
Sources are saying that apparently Michael Cole and Tazz are pretty frustrated with the way they are portrayed by Vince McMahon on Smackdown these days, and many feel that it is shining through in their announcing. In addition to that, they are not exactly happy that they are considered the "number two" announce team on the "B-show."
It is no secret that Mick Foley has some problems with one of his knees, and that fact is what is potentially holding him back from being locked in for another match in WWE. A few weeks ago there had been some rumors concerning Foley returning for a Summerslam match, but at this time there are no plans to bring Foley back for Summerslam.
WWE SmackDown Match Previews (No Spoilers):
Rico and Charlie Haas vs. the FBI (Stamboli and Nunzio)
Billy Kidman vs. Akio
Chavo Classic vs. Spike Dudley and Chavo Jr. for the Cruiserweight Championship
Booker T vs. Funaki
Rene Dupree vs. John Cena
Bradshaw and The Dudley Boys vs. Eddie Guerrero, RVD and Rey Mysterio
Big Details Concerning NWA-TNA's FSN TV Deal:
"TNA Wrestling Impact" will be debuting on June 4, 2004 at 3 p.m. est on FOX Sports Net, which is available in various forms throughout the United States.
The deal between TNA and FSN is a 52-week agreement which will give both parties involved the chance to back out of the deal at the halfway point (26 weeks). Many feel that the 3 p.m. timeslot is not a very good decision for TNA, but it will protect the show from being pre-empted by regional sports coverage, which happens often.
TNA will tape their debut show of Impact on June 3 in Orlando, at Universal Studios - which will also be the site for all future FSN tapings. For those wondering, TNA will still be doing Wednesday night PPV events, and the current plan is to fly a ten-man crew of wrestlers each week to Orlando on a charter flight from Nashville.
As of right now, there is no official word on whether TNA will be doing FSN tapings weekly, or whether they will just schedule them as three tapings per month (with no set dates ahead of time).
Great American Bash Main Event, Eddie/Undertaker News; More:
As of right now the working plan is to have Eddie Guerrero defend the WWE Title against Bradshaw once again, as the main event of June's Smackdown-only PPV, The Great American Bash. There have been no plans to add an additional wrestler into the mix to make it more interesting, or add any type of gimmick, so right now it is just set to be a one-on-one match. There has been a lot of thought backstage that the Smackdown brand really dropped the ball with Judgment Day and potentially Great American Bash.
Months ago, many sources backstage at RAW had been constantly mentioning the fact that Vince McMahon seemed to be only concerned with Steve Austin and Triple H. Lately, those backstage at Smackdown feel as though Vince's primary concerns at this point in time are to make sure that he comes up with storylines for Eddie Guerrero and Undertaker.
HHH/HBK HIAC Confirmed By WWE, Kanyon Return:
(This is from a TWPN News reporter)
I have also received a couple of e-mails this morning from several people who saw a commercial in their markets promoting the HHH vs. Shawn Michaels Hell In A Cell match for Bad Blood, "Two best friends, now bitter enemies, battle in the most brutal of matches - Hell In A Cell." I guess that means it's now been confirmed.
At this point, Chris Kanyons situation with TNA and the Jarretts is really up in the air. There have been talks with TNA and interest on both sides, but right now, both sides want more of a commitment. Chris Kanyon was quoted in a recent interview in saying, I dont want to commit to them if I cant give 110 percent, he proclaims, I dont want to just do it for the money; I dont want to do it just as a hobby. If Im gonna do it, I wanna do it 110 percent, or I just want to walk away.
There has been a lot of criticism over HHH's actions during the battle royal on RAW this week, in that he tried his best to put himself over as much as he could even though he did not win the match, as he put himself in the position that seemed as though he would have won if Shawn Michaels didn't interfere in the match. The general feeling backstage was a lot of wondering why, if HHH wasn't going over in the match, he was one of the final two competitors.
With Chris Benoit set to defend the World Heavyweight Title at Bad Blod against Kane, many feel that Kane will make a strong opponent for Benoit. Though, right now the main focus on RAW is the seemingly never-ending storyline between HHH and Shawn Michaels and their upcoming Hell In A Cell match which will headline the PPV. The reason why Benoit and Kane won't be headlining Bad Blood is mainly due to the fact that Kane has been lost in the shuffle ever since being potentially buried by Triple H last year. The feeling is that HHH/HBK would easily be the bigger match right now, and would most likely draw and do better numbers in the main event slot than Benoit/Kane would. This doesn't mean that they don't feel Benoit and Kane can't deliver a good match, rather due more towards the amplitude of the HHH/HBK feud at this current point in time.

HHH was one of the final 2 in the Battle Royal so that HBK could cost him the match the way he did. HHH gave up the match, but with HBK's interference it sets it up even more for the match at Bad Blood, HBK screwing HHH out of the #1 contendership when he was so close to it. I don't see why any speculation is necessary about it. It's that simple.
You can headline the Hell in a Cell match simply because there's more story between HHH and HBK than Kane and Benoit. When there's been no history between the two, there's not really anything interesting going into that kind of match.
Finally, looking back, I think it's funny that Ernest Miller talked shit about WWE, when he's the one that sucked ass to start with. I mean, he was hyped up just like anyone coming into the WWE, yet when he first appeared on Smackdown, he didn't get ANY reaction from the crowd. It was like they just ignored him and pretended he wasn't there. Hell, Vince tried to get him some reaction with his small "feud" with him, but that didn't work either. It wasn't WWE's fault. People just did not care about Miller, at all.

Haha, how true about Ernest. Was there any real point to his character? I didnt see it. And yea, I think you are right when it comes to HHH and HBk. Although I woulda liked Kane to get the win over HHH, it just makes more sense this way. Im hoping the Hell in a Cell will kik major ass, and I bet the Benoit/Kane match will be good.

My bet is:NO.The time slot is REALLY going to kill it off.The only people who are probably going to catch it are people like myself or kids out of school. Then again alot of kids do watch TV in the summer so you never know.Im hope they make it.

Yeah, I'm sad to addmit that I remember both of those two dancing baffoons. The Cat is a retard for thinking that it's Vince's fault he never got over, the guy just plain sucked in the WWE. He was good in WCW, but that was WCW, in WWE, if you ain't a Mcmahon creation, you ain't too likely to get over in WWE. As for TNA, if it ain't airing in Canada, then no, I doubt they'll get any bigger then what they're at now.

Sting To Make WWE Debut in the future??, Sting/Benjamin, TNA Notes; More:
In an interview with IGN.com to promote the Legends of Wrestling: Showdown video game, Sting makes it clear that if the timing is right, he would love to work for WWE. In the article, Sting noted, "If it were done properly, I would do it. This last Wrestlemania would've been a good one, Wrestlemania XX, just the fact that I've never been a part of one. I would definitely do it. You know, Vince and I have talked several times over the past few years. The Wrestlemania before, he wanted me to repel out of the ceiling and do something with Stone Cold Steve Austin, and we were set to do it, we were going to do it, but once the attorney's get going, and it's not my attorney, he's only doing what I ask him to do, but once their attorney's get involved, it's tough. When I talk to Vince, it's easy. Anyway, I had to call Vince and tell him that we couldn't do it. He's been great every time I've talked to him, so you never know. It's something I'm interested in."
Although he's appeared for NWA:TNA, Sting pointed out that he doesn't consider himself an "NWA Wrestler." Sting commented, "What ended up happening was when I first started my wrestling career, Jerry Jarrett was the only promoter who called us when we sent out those press kits I mentioned earlier. The only one who called us. Jerry called us three days after we sent those out, and even though there were four of us in the picture, he only wanted two of us, Jim and me. We got in the car and we left and that was it. He gave me my break. So last summer when I got a phone call from the Jarretts, I didn't want to do it. But then I started thinking about it, and Jerry gave me my break, so I decided to go out and help them out. I did four shows for them last year, but that was it."
The interviewer also brought up that Shelton Benjamin had told him a lot of the moves he does in the ring are a tribute to Sting, who is his favorite wrestler. Sting commented, ": I'm flattered. I've gotta meet this guy. That's pretty awesome. There's no other way to put it. I feel honored that he does that."
Sting also noted that the "Crow" version of his character is his favorite.
Big News On Eddie Guerrero And Chris Benoit To Japan:
New Japan Director Fumihiko Uei met up with WWE Vice President of Talent Relations John Lauranitis over the weekend in Los Angeles and they had some productive conversations.
As of right now there is a very good chance that there will be a talent sharing agreement made soon between the two sides. There is talk that at least three NJ wrestlers could compete on the Smackdown shows in Japan at Nippon Budokan Hall on 7/16 & 7/17, and Uei expressed interest to Lauranitis that he wants at least one WWE wrestler (Uei mentioned either Chris Benoit or Eddie Guerrero) for the G1 Climax singles tournament in August.

Why would Canada have anything to do with whether or not TNA makes it? Its got to get somewhat bigger due to its on cable now, not only ppv. Canada has no influence on that whatsoever.

I mean, in order for them to get bigger than they are now, and become a decent number 2 promotion, their new tv deal has to air in all of North America, not just the States. Their PPVs air in both Canda and the States, so they need to air their show in Canada as well, and the rest of the world. Their no goo if all they do is air stuff only in the States.
Ghaleon, I liked the Wall also, unfortunately he has since died tragically last year.
